Amazing! If you want lunch or even dinner and love oldish dinners this is the place to go. They placed old music and the whole dinner had an aged look making it seem old fashioned but at the same time modern. The staff were polite and answer all of our questions. The food was amazing making our visit a huge success and would definitely go again

I was SO disappointed with our meal last night; previous experiences at the Hub box had been outstanding which made the poor meal even more of a let down. As an American I was so pleased to have found a genuine and unpretentious burger restaurant, nice and simple and affordable  which is what a burger place should be. The burgers I had eaten there prior to last night were second to none and were as good as any really good burgers in the USA. Last night's burger was awful. The meat was overcooked,  dry and tasteless and there was virtually no house sauce on it, so it was difficult to eat. The fries were cold, limp and soggy and the coleslaw was drowning  in mayo. I will say that the nachos we had as a starter were delicious and the service was superb (great front of house dude!). Sadly, because of this experience, we will not be eating there again; we live an hour away and it had been our treat place, so the food has to be super for the journey to be worthwhile.  Thanks for the great burgers we'd had previously Hub box!

A great place for lunch! Drove all the way to Exeter from Plymouth to do some shopping and was intrigued by this Ame7rican burger joint. After entering the restaurant you can feel the atmosphere is very different and rather cosy. 
My girlfriend order a Patty Melt and I a double 4oz burger. The burger was fantastic and the Patty Melt. The chips were handmade and had a lovely flavour although it wasn't crunchy (still loved it).
The burgers don't come with sides so I ordered mac and cheese loved my mac and cheese

Really disappointing meal, having heard good things. Ridiculously expensive at around £10 for a burger just on it's own, especially for the small portions. Was told that the menu was in transition, but a lot was missing off the menu. Reasonably good selection of veggie/vegan options with good ideas, but unfortunately they're served in what tastes remarkably like a bland Sainsburys wholemeal roll, rather than a brioche-esc bun. Fries, similarly overpriced, were also pretty tasteless and a tiny portion. All food was brought to the table stone cold, which was just the last nail in the coffin. Staff were really friendly, but sadly I came away feeling very shortchanged, as well as still hungry! All show and no go.
