Although busy we were soon found a table. Great variety on the menu and we chose haddock and chips and stacked braised beef. A huge haddock and a big portion of braised beef which tasted beautiful.  Staff were very good and friendly.  Price of 37 pounds outstanding place to visit .

Excellent! My first visit will be the first of many. HS1 is warm and cosy, with contemporary decor and lighting. The staff were friendly and had the right balance of attentiveness.nI had the ramen with salmon, and it was delicious. The broth was perfectly seasoned, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. It was ultimately comforting on a cold winter's night. The portion size was probably more than I needed, but it was so good that I couldn't help finishing it all.nIt's fairly pricey, but since everything was so good, it turned out to be good value.

Fabulous food! Best in Stornoway by far! Menu has so much variety. Our choices were beautifully flavoured, absolutely delicious!! Presentation was outstanding too. Thank you chefs and serving staff!nGo early to get a table!
