Worst practice ever. The receptionists have been completely unhelpful, they didn’t even want to talk to my GP over the phone who requested to speak with them. The receptionists kept on making me repeat myself because of my not-that-thick accent, making weird faces. Unacceptable. She didn’t even open the email from my GP, because of a nonsense policy. I was fuming and I asked my GP for an appointment in a different practice. I will never ever come back to that place.
I have been local here for over 15 years, and a patient at this practice in its various guises all that time. I've always found the receptionists friendly, the practice nurses efficient and the doctors helpful. Once I get through on the telephone, I've always managed to get an appointment within the next week or so whether phone or in person. The only slightly annoying thing is the scrolling matrix board in the waiting room to call you through to an assessment room, which you can miss if not fully attentive.
I would give it a 0 stars if I could. Just been turned away for being 10 mins late due to the deadlock of traffic on Highbury corner. The staff are rude and the doctor Mohammed Salam denied me treatment that I had waited 6 months for on the basis I had rushed her as fast as I can despite traffic. Do NOT use this centre for ENT treatment. Disgusting and lack of empathic behaviour for patients who live 45 mins away!
We're a couple with a toddler and we're really happy with the care we receive at the practice. Dr Hira is a very good GP, she always gets back to us on medical issues we submit on the e-consult form and when we need to be seen we've never had to wait for long. The nurses we've met have always been great. Considering how many GP practices had not been seeing patients in person for so long the Rise practice did really well in continuing care and our experience has only been positive.
My baby was sick since when he is 2 or 3 months ,he was coughing and making a noise when he is breathing, i took him to the GP so many times, and no result he was getting worse, and than i decided to take him to private French clinic, the doctor found un infection in my baby.
What a bunch of amateurs. Its very chaotic in there the reception staff don't appear to have any kinda experience or training. The Doctor is very judge mental I don't like her and not many other people do neither from what I've heard. They disregard medical issues and only interested when it comes to covering there backs. Don't waste your time with these. Choose another practice.
Day 3 of trying to sort out medication for one of my patients. ITS NOT HARD, HOW DO YOU STILL MESS UP
Nurse Mirena is so friendly and welcoming. She made me feel extremely comfortable and made my visit a pleasant one.
i have to say that i just rung up and once again the stroppiness from receptionist is unbelievable ..waiting over two weeks for a phone call from gp..cannot get my medicationds still at the practice miss Shen was so unpleasant that i even raise my voice. Cannot believe that the advice is to go to A/E as they havent got enough to deal with. IT's a disgrace to have a surgery with such low standard. i have to agree with all the rest of complaints seeing on line. thanks for yer attention ornella dal vecchio ps receptionist hung up on me as well !!
This is one of the worst GP’s i have ever been to. The staff are very rude and dismissive. The doctors disregard your medical problems despite repeatedly making appointments due to those problems. The receptionists are the most rudest people I’ve met. They always hang up on you or disregard you. I’m a type 1 diabetic who takes insulin every day multiple times a day, and when i called for a repeat prescription that i have been on for 5 years they told me no that i cant have it because its not on my prescription! I would not recommend for anyone to go here! Its a nightmare.
