I which we loved much closer, I will eat here every weekend. The dishes are great sizes, excelent flavor, so good. With excelent service. Full of Chinese people, you know what that means, yes, You will loved it too.Food: 5/5
Amazing selection of authentic Chinese food. Their decor is very much welcoming and authentic to the specific region of their dishes. Would reccomend coming here for their portions alone. One dish could comfortably feed 2 or sometimes 3.Food: 5/5
Back for our favourites on a day that who wants to cook right? Hump day!! New favourite is the Shrimp JUMBO wonton soup with the flavourful home made chilli oil!! New owner now but still the same great taste!! Great location too! After a costco run and fill up cheap gas... these dishes are just calling our name. K5 and the chunky chicken salted fish fried rice. Extra nice surprise we got a complimentary dessert. It was cold and smooth!! Nice ending to our stuffed bellies!!
Spacious and clean seating area. Attentive servers. Good menu selections items that include more authentic Chinese dishes and Canadian-Chinese dishes. Size of individual dim sum pieces and portion sizes of dishes were good. Our only criticism is that some.of the dim sum arrived luke-warm was not hot like we expected coming straight out of a steamer. Parking: Located in a strip-mall, so lots of parking at the front of the building.
Went in a large group of 14 people, and the service was quick. The dishes weren't very clean and the menus were a bit worn out, but the food came in big portions and tasted on par with other good restaurants I've had the same dishes from. We had lots of leftovers to take out, so if we ordered less, we would've spent less than $20 per person and probably still would've had leftovers!
First time to comment. As a 100% chinese, i’m sure Congee Chan is the No.1 asian restaurant in London. I went there every week and it’s even better than many cantonese restaurants in china.Food: 5/5
Came here with my family on a Sunday for lunch and it was decently busy, didn’t impact how long we had to wait - we got seated immediately. The server we had was quick to give us some tea and get our orders in which is well appreciated. The atmosphere was quaint and clean, not too loud which was nice. I usually order from here on UberEats but it was nice to come in the restaurant and sit down. We ordered the seafood congee not pictured, seafood pineapple fried rice, fried noodle with XO sauce, and lo mein. All the food came out very quickly and piping hot. The portions for each dish was humongous, we had lots of leftovers. The congee is a staple here; the texture is very good and the seafood inside is well cooked. The XO noodles were not spicy as I anticipated since the menu said it was but it was good nonetheless. The fried rice was decent, there were no pineapple pieces in the rice so I’m a little confused where the pineapple comes in but regardless, it was a classic fried rice. Lastly, the lo mein had lots of sauce on top of the crispy noodles which was delicious. Overall, this place is great for a quick, affordable, and tasty bite of Chinese food!
We are native Chinese living in Toronto and wanted to experience Chinese food in London for the first time as we only had local foods for the last a few times in London. It's really a pleasant surprise to see the Chinese food here is pretty much on par to the same kind of restaurants in Toronto, such as Congee Wong, Congee Queen. So we definitely recommend this. Reduced one star on food is because the rice was a little bit under seasoned and the prices are higher than Toronto. A fried rice, half chicken, eggplant pot and a milk tea is over $80 after everything Otherwise, good decor and friendly servers.
Solid Canto style restaurant reminiscent of Congee Queen and similar chains. Beef Ho Fun is great. Spicy turnip cake is decent. I'd skip the soft shell crab fried rice - crab is fried to death and mostly just tastes like batter and the rest of the fried rice is mostly just spicy and salty and not much other flavour. Rice and noodle dishes are quite large for the price though, which is awesome - 25 buckish per person gets us essentially two entire meals.
We ordered the set meal for 6 people. Food was excellent! Over all great experience! Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
