Always try to use local companies appreciate they are more of a north wide company but there you go. Staff in the shop are brilliant. The chap who came to fit the blind epic, polite and professional. However, when the blind broke we had a bit of a surprise. Now please note the blind broke after one month of use. It’s in my sons room and he is 24 so it’s not as though he is swinging off it. Took 3 weeks until we had a date to look at and repair if possible. Now we would have been fine with this was not for the extremely poor attitude of the lady who phoned to tell us. I was listening in as my wife had the phone on open microphone. Defensive when she asked if there was a rough time for arrival on the agreed date, again when she asked why it had taken so long to respond and the anger when my wife confused Roman blind for Venetian blinds. Please excuse her for not having a BSC in blinds. The day before the agreed visit date we got a call to say the representative was sick and he could not attend but they could not provide another date. This was the final straw for my wife, she told them that as they couldn’t provide a new date, that they could just come around and take the blind out and pay us back, as 4 weeks use of a supposedly quality product is very poor. We had a new date by the end of the phone call. I take no pleasure in having to do this sort of thing but we felt as though we had no option. The after sales support is weak. When the chap came to the house he fixed the fault in 5 minutes as always polite, professional and engaging. We were going to get shutters for the front of the house but I think we will have to go elsewhere. We have to have dependable after sales to ensure further purchase. The Roman blind correct name is really nice, well fitted and made of quality materials. Such a shame that the attitude of one person has made us doubt the dependable nature of this company. Update - blind broken again in the same place. Contacted the company two weeks ago. Now the 26 of March. Nothing heard since. Will update as this outstanding matter develops. Now the 28th no contact….. 3 April 23. Still no contact….. 7 April 23. Still no contact….. Please note 2 messages sent, one of which in person…. 13 April…..nothing My wife phoned again on the 17 April. Would anyone like to guess the outcome. Yes your right nothing, zip all, we are invisible to this company now they have our money. Wish I could drop this to one star. Oh I can! Read my other reviews I am fair and balanced. This company is utterly appalling. Stay clear. Now have someone coming out on the 10 May 23. This only happened as my wife threatened to contact the MD directly. So 8 weeks of constant phoning and we now have an estimated date of visit…… More to follow no doubt! Well they came on the day as promised. As usual the guy was polite and professional. Blind taken away and returned today the 12 May 23. So it is now hanging nicely and seems to working as we expected when we first bought it last year! So it’s now the 10th June 23 and all is well with the blind. So will now put the review to a three. Such a shame the after sales is shambolic! Well we are now looking at shutters for the front and back of the house but I just cannot bring myself to buy them here. It’s such a shame. Yep gone to another supplier now. Such a shame.
From first entering the showroom in Tesco's at Kingston park you just get the feeling that this is a Quality Set up, Friendly & polite Staff, Light & Clean showroom & Quality Goods on show! We explained what we were after & we were shown a Catalogue of Day &Night blinds! They then arranged for a free home visit for measurements, couple of days later this was sorted out, & about 9 days later the blind was fitted & all was explained! The blind looks great and works really smoothly! First Class Company, First Class Staff & First Class Quality Goods! I would Highly Recommend Homefair Blinds at Kingston park! Homefair Blinds Gain & A1 Blinds Loss!!
Very poor service,After 4 weeks for blinds to be delivered only half the order was completed, One blind came chipped on edges and taken back , Another blind was installed with no cords to Opperate them. 2 of the blinds on order have not been delivered With the excuse they are delayed this is after a 4 week waite.If you are looking for blinds don't go here
I am delighted with my blinds from the person who came to measure my blinds to the two men who fitted the blinds they were all very professional and helpful I would recommend Home fair
They have good range of blinds at reasonable prices
Excellent quality blinds ,great customer service. Excellent price.
