Patio heater developed a fault late within the first year of purchase. Homebase Horsham didn't quibble and replaced the item without issue. Very helpful to us, courteous staff on reception, our family recommends.

I visited this Homebase store yesterday, but found it so disappointing that I came away without buying anything. I went there to buy a fluorescent strip-lighting unit for a utility room. I was dismayed to find that although the store is large, it was offering only three units, of only two styles, neither of them suitable as they were too long. Frankly, I think this is pathetic. It left me wondering what exactly is Homebase's managerial policy - do they want customers or not? I left and went instead to City Electrical, where I had good and prompt service, with no queues, and came away with just the right product at a reasonable price. Homebase should take note.

Usual useless shop, like maplins I suppose, heading the same way. Their website specifically informed me of a stocked item. Being disabled, I made double sure it was available, made special trip there. Hope ! Nothing, out of stock. Like thousands of folk, I've given up with Homebase, can't trust them, absolutely no confidence in their shops. Use your local family run hardware stores if you have any left, at least they try. Staff here look bored and distant.

I needed some information on various types of paint and Jim with his very friendly and professional approach as well as amazing wealth of knowledge on the area helped me in the store. I had to go back to him for more information and every time he took the time to explain the chemistry behind paints and the way they work. He is a true asset to this store. Thank you Jim.

went into horsham branch staff didnt seem very helpfull down stairs so i went up and there was only one member of staff up there and he seemed more interested in someone who wanted to buy a kitchen went back down no one showed any interest in what i wanted they were more interested in some woman and her dog so i went to b and q fantastic service.
