Great service I lost my headlight bulb on my way home. Went in quite late and they were great. We’re happy to fit it checked the other one as well because that was very dim and it was going so they replaced both and up graded to brighter bulbs no pressure sales. They were fantastic as my car is very difficult to fit the bulbs I was so greatful because I had struggled to see to get home and then to there. Would recommend to anyone great service lovely staff good price
I went in to have a brake light bulb replaced which was efficiently done by very helpful friendly staff, but was also offered a free 10-point car check and some very useful advice. Drove away feeling very reassured! Highly recommend Motoring Club membership!
In the bike section Ben was really helpful. Took my bike in to build even though I knew how to I had a few questions and had no tools. He gave me a few tools to borrow free of charge and said I can take the bike back for him to check over. When I took the tools back he checked the bike over and even pumped the tires for me free of charge. Friendly and helpful, would recommend to ask him for any advice! If I have any issues I'll be asking for him again.
Didn’t have time to go to a garage to get an indicator light sorted. Turned up at 7pm expecting then to tell me to come back during the day and they fitted it quickly and efficiently. 2 lovely, helpful guys, chatty and friendly, thank you!
Received an email from Halfords this morning that my order is ready for collection. Drove there this afternoon 3.30pm, store is locked, lights on, people restocking shelves, but a sign says that the shop is closed today. Knocked on the door, everyone inside blatantly looking the other way avoiding eye contact. Wonderful! Where is the zero star rating to 'reward' them for wasting my fuel?!
It's quicker to drive to the local store to talk to them than it is to navigate their phone service. On the upside the phone service has some excellent jazz to listen to, which makes a change from Vivaldi's Four Seasons or Eine Kleine Nachtmusik ....
Appalling customer service, they book you in for work to be carried out 1 month in advance but no notifications sent to confirm this with the customer, and when you show up they say they haven't got a record of the booking. Bloody awful customer service but I guess they are the 'Halfords' brand, so I should have expected this level of service.... never again!!
Having ordered a SatNav online for click and collect, it took Halfords at Horsham 5 hours to confirm the item was ready. On collection the following day I waited nearly 15 minutes whilst the Halfords colleague went off to find it. The item I was offered was not in a sealed box and I stupidly didn't choose to open it whist in the store. At home I found that the item at some stage had been removed from the box and possible used as the charging lead was just screwed up, the screen had finger prints on it and the quick start guide was missing. I went back to the store and returned the item. As they didn't have another SatNav the same, I was offered the choice of one of two different items, neither of which was suitable. I requested a refund which duly given. Two round trips to the store amounted to 60 miles.
Went to Halfords horsham where i have had headlamp bulbs changed on my Mitsubishi Grandis several times. Yes they are not easy to change but Halfords have managed it several times in say 30 mins or so. Not this time. Bulb identified fine...was handed over to the service team, The guy assigned to my car spent 10 mins telling me how difficult the job was. even after i told him it usually requires some one with small hands. Then he said if i left the car with them for 8 hours they may be able to do it but he could not guarantee it. He looked at the job din't like it then gave me the ultimate brush off go to Crawley Branch they have loads of staff who could do this. Drive to Crawley and the car park is heaving so cannot get the job done. Word of advice to Halfords. If you are going to advertise a service make sure you can deliver it rather then letting staff exaggerate the difficulty of a job 8 hrs lolololol so left with one headlamp mid winter. Thanks Halfords.... Update... returned to Horsham after two failed attempts to park at Crawley waited 20 mins one guy started doing the job. Needed assistance and Miles arrived he got the job done in less then 10 mins. THANK YOU MILES,!
Limited staff in store on a late Monday morning not many customers either,didn't appear busy .Just as well I had dore search on child car seats as no one had much time and certainly didn't feel I could ask to help fit although the staff I did speak to were pleasant.
