Service has really declined. Difficult to get hold of no answer machine on phone now, need constant reminders/check. Staff are always friendly if you manage to speak to them but I’m constantly stressed wondering if my repeat prescription has been processed or if I’ll be out of the supplies I need whilst I try to follow up. Appreciate they’re stretched and working with suppliers but service could be more consistent.
I informed the pharmacy three weeks ago I would collect didn't want to pay £40 or £4 for delivery,my choice! So i went to the pharmacy to collect my script also reiterated I wasn't paying for delivery and to adjust ,it was utter chaos in there,when I got back home a person had tried to deliver leaving a note that it would be £4 at no point was I told my script was incomplete, the following day the delivery person arrived again to deliver the script he wouldn't leave it with my daughter in law as she wasn't going to pay £4 ,my question is why didn't I get this script when I came to collect? Why was it given to delivery driver AGAIN ?? I had made it crystal clear I was collecting ,so it seems you still have some of my script so to get my meds is going to take me three visits I can't believe the inc
It is true that they do get things wrong, need reminders, are not always polite on the phone and don’t always have prescriptions ready, missing basic stuff that should really be permanently on the shelf. However they also to me seem to be incredibly busy, working in cramped surroundings which I wonder if they are fit for purpose. In general the staff are okay especially face to face and they do try hard. I have found them trying to do their best even if they don’t always succeed. I do believe they care. Times are weird still at present. Cut them some slack and accept nothing is ever perfect. Chill and go with the flow.
Used to be such a good pharmacy. But has gone down hill. Dont get me wrong the staff are lovely, but they need to rework things. Get told to wait a week for your prescription. Fair enough, so i order roughly 2 weeks before i run out of meds, to go in a week later, it hasnt even been done, they print the script off and put me as a 'waiter' to wait and find out they need to order something and to go back in 4 days, which ill now run out off. I thought thats what the 7 days wait is for, so they can get everything ready, order what needs to be ordered.
Very polite staff, not sure the issues others are experiencing but baring in mind they are still new to this pharmacy they are doing very well in my opinion. Highly recommend
Very friendly and experienced staff. Pharmacist are very knowledgeable, and always on hand to help. Situated in a very convenient area. All round good pharmacy.
ABHORENT BEHAVIOUR: DATA PROTECTION A delivery man came to deliver medication - I advised and Homeground confirmed any previous prescription prior to the delivery charge will be honoured - to which I have copious amounts outstanding that Homeground as yet have not delivered and in fact have been waiting for over a month now on these. My husband answered the door- I know as per my meticulous records what I am owed and how long I have been waiting and equally have kept all I owe you receipts from Homeground. You need to pay £4, no I do not- I will be submitting a once a month prescription request from January - start from a clean slate- pay the annual prescription and if any urgents come in of course pay the additional. I have not ordered any prescriptions through Homeground for December purposely as not to cause them confusion. Personal details were discussed on my door step- the delivery man had Homeground on loud speaker- the woman at that end - said very loudly -{loud enough for anyone in the area to hear and in fact for myself to hear on one of our many cameras to record SHE IS NOT GETTING AWAY WITH THIS AGAIN - the person at the other end needs training on data protection and how to have common decency of being a human. If the Management would like the footage or indeed the media- by all means please contact me and in the meantime- I will await all outstanding and as agreed pay for the full years delivery in January of £40. Who would have thought a very ill person was being treated worse than a loan shark calling.
Badly organised, this group took over several months ago. Launched a web site over 3 months ago, and it still does not work. Absolutely shocking. I recently order 4 standard items as a repeat, I have this regularly. Their response was that it would be ready in 2-7 days. 4 tiny boxes, in 1 paper bag. Complete disgrace to the industry
Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Things occasionally go downhill but nothing to blame the pharmacy on. They are extremely lovely people.
Painfully slow service of late during daylight hours. So, I now normally try to collect my prescription on my way to work instead but I visited today and they were not open just before 6 am. A member of staff entering the surgery next door informed me that it’s now being run by someone different and they don’t open until 8 am despite their website saying they still open at 5 am. Visited again on the way home and it’s now rammed with no room to even get in the door. Hopeless!
