Having discovered that one of the men’s toilet cubicles was something like the toilets at Glastonbury, I reported it to the member of staff at the kiosk, who said there was nothing she could do and that I had to go to customer services at the other end of the store. I pointed out that she being staff I had made her aware of it to pass on to the respective department. All I received was a rude mouthful of backchat. Some staff training and reappraisal required I think.
Good range of food at reasonable prices. Does run out of stock on the cheaper ranges everytime I go though unfortunately, you often end up having to buy brand names at over twice the price. Staff are helpful and freindly. Great prices, on cheaper brands of alcohol and thankfully this area is usually well stocked.
I have been a customer in this Asda store for about four years, recently I purchased a blue light card as I am eligible with my job. I have made fantastic savings in a number of retailers and noticed it could be used in Asda. Unfortunately when I attempted to use the card for the 10% saving I was told I needed my Id to go with the virtual card. In an age where more people are using Apple Pay I didn’t have my wallet with id card in there, .After asking customer services why you would need further Id to verify I was a member, explaining you must send proof you are eligible for the service in the first place she was vague and offered little answers. If we’re going by this policy why wasn’t I asked for ID when I used my Apple Pay bank card. If your going to sign up for a savings club for the benefit of your sales and the consumer might be worth getting with the times a little bit. Annoyed to say the least as I spent nearly £153.00 which would have been a savings £15.30! Edit to the reply: Yeah not really acknowledging the point I made you can’t join the service without proof prior, and your happy to take a virtual bank card without a form of ID so what’s the difference?
This store misleads its customers by charging more per Kg for chicken breasts than that advertised on the price flash. Advertised at £6.60 kg but packet size is marked at 950g and I was charged £6.60 for 950g which means the real price is £6.94kg substantially more than nearby Lidl & Morrisons. Customer service offered me the chicken for half price which I refused. Asda just put the correct price on product. No manager would discuss my concerns with me so I will take my concerns to Swindon trading standards .
This is very busy Asda but I found the staff to be quite dull. We visited the cafe where the staff were all quite rushed off their feet and forgot to give us our drinks. The cafe was a mess and they hide the condiments behind the tills. My food was cold and they didn’t offer any kind of alternative milk what so ever. Overall I’d recommend avoiding this Asda.
It was ok...not happy bout the paving as I tripped on a particularly high unlevel slab & jarred my back Hi Tasha, my girlfriend & i were there on a day out exploring the area whilst on holiday..we're from Bournemouth & might be back one day to explore & shop again
The store is okay, a bit of a hit and miss really. I wanted to write this review regarding their online ordering services for Click and Collect / Home Delivery. It is just to make people who may be feeling the pinch right now aware that they can cancel your order and if you are in a situation where you can't afford to wait 3-5 days for your money to be refunded then I would suggest that you don't risk using the service - at least with this store. Other than that, I have used their online service for click & collect and home delivery a couple of times now. They are okay but generally more on the disappointing side. You get a lot of swaps which aren't always the best. I personally won't be using these services again as I have two young children the youngest being 4 weeks old and I can't risk not having items I need for them cancelled or swapped out. What is designed to help make lives easier just ends up causing more stress/disappointment.
Today again I went to use the atm bank inside asda Walmart orbitol, only to find again only one atm in use, what is going on asda, if this atm fails, then I have no funds to shop for goods in the store, as I'm a cash shopper,!
Since Walmart sold it on it has got down hill.... This stores stock is shocking, now coming out without more and more shopping list items each week... Store is messy... No long a pleasent experience.
I rushed over to asda on 21/2/2023 at 8pm after visiting another pharmacy for my daughters medication because their website stated the pharmacy closed at 11pm WEBSITE INFORMATION WRONG it closed at 8pm so that's £30 wasted on taxis that I cannot afford right now and don't bother wasting your time trying to phone them because it's an automated message and then they hang up on you If the option for zero was an option I'd have chosen that !!!!
