Enjoyed the visit, food was really nice, staff pleasant, loads of free parking,nVery old building so watch your head on low bits.nDefinitely not your average pub meal, a big step up really for not much more money.nI would recommend visiting as it’s a bit of a hidden gem.
my cousin and i ordered the oriental burger vegan option, which was almost inedible. the menu description seemed flavourful and punchy, but the patty we were served was sweetcorny potato mush with unripe avocado on top - and it didn't have any onion rings with it. the 'proper chips' weren't properly cooked for anyone in group, and were instead oily and soggy.nthe staff were lovely, and the decor was great, but i would not eat here again.
Everything about this experience was fantastic. Thank you to the team. Brilliant service, absolutely fantastic food. Peaceful and lovely environment. Had a lovely meal for family visiting from the lakes. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you again, we will be back again soon.
Great pub that I have not visited before. Lovely location, plenty of parking. Staff were great and food was lovely. I ordered the really dirty fries, really big sharer, the meat and the cheeses tasted great. My friend had the salmon that she also loved. Would highly recommend a visit.
