Ate at the... Place restaurant? cafe? Hard to give it a name that serves food. It was expensive and truly unimpressive. Burgers were heat from frozen patties on old bread with no sauce. Coffee was watery muck. Tea isn't much better. Staff were generally lazy, unmotivated and rude. Toilets are too narrow so you have to get real friendly to get past someone using the urinals. Bowling is expensive and pricing is deliberately confusing. Don't regret visiting but in on rush to return.
The place was clean and tidy even though it was a little busy. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time here. It us quite expensive but uou can get good deals on the website sometimes. We did not try the food or drinks while we were there.
Very friendly staff, well kept lanes and equipment. We had a wonderful time bowling, and found it was easy enough for members of our party who were struggling to put the "bumpers" up with just a button press on the touchscreen, which was very useful. Plenty of communal bowling balls to choose from, and the staff were fast and friendly when help was needed. Well decorated, and made for an exciting day out for the family. The refreshments and food inside were well priced, simple and filling - and the amusement arcade inside had "something for everyone" - from modern arcade games to penny-pushers and ticket challenges.
Brilliant service, upgraded us to VIP without asking. As it was the 4 year olds first time, made the day even better. They are able to cater to a range of ages and abilities. Table service for food and drink is helpful and professional. Not the most healthy food but perfect for a lazy family day out. Will return, thank you
This is a great place for family entertainment. If you're bowling, the price is reasonable, and you'll have fun in a lively and colourful atmosphere. You should expect the usual high price for food and drink at the bar. As in all arcades, they are a complete rip-off and should be avoided at all cost; good luck convincing the kids though.
It's okay, but be prepared on the bowling for the screen to freeze and lose all your scores. For the system not to add all your points correctly. And if you order a drink from the service button you will wait at least 20 mins for those cold drinks whilst they are sat on the bar ledge getting warm and at least 5+ different people have walked past them and ignored them. If you are happy for that kind of service then fill your boots. A manager needs to be on the floor to run the show, this person was not visible or just not there...
It was great to have bowling sessions with family. I couldn't have coffee , because NO dairy milk alternatives, what is a massive shame for place. Very dirty outside entrance, litters and rubbish everywhere. Arcade side great for kids to have some play , not for long stay as is loud, flashing lights, definitely making headaches, warning or people who does suffer with migraine and epilepsy. We didn't try food , as will prefer healthy and not overpriced food. Noneles we had great family time and kids was happy they can play
I had very low expectations when I went in but even this was too high. The place was freezing. Ordered food and drinks, the drinks came quickly but after 30 minutes the food had not arrived. We chased up the food and apparently the kitchen did not notice the food order ticket so nothing had been prepared. When the food arrived it was of the expected poor quality. The hot dog had no onions on, as the menu claims, the roll was extremely chewy. A place worth avoiding.
We had an allocated time to start at 1pm, unfortunately we arrived 4 minutes late due to baby needing a nappy change mid car journey. When we arrived there was a queue to check in, by the time we checked in it was 1:09pm was told one player couldn’t play or we would all be able to play but wouldn’t be able to finish the game. The man on the desk was rude and abrupt, made no effort to come up with a solution, we were told we needed to give the lane back at 1:30pm, I don’t believe 30 minutes is a reasonable time to give for a game anyway when you’ve got one player who’s 3 and needs to share the ramp with another family playing down another alley, so we were waiting up-to 5 minutes to get the ramp back for our 3 year old to have his turn. The sour taste when we got there ruined the game, made us rush and felt on edge the entire time. I won’t be going back, even if we had turned up 4 minutes earlier at 1pm it still wouldn’t have given us enough time to complete the game properly within 30 minutes let alone order food and beverages.
It's always fun to take the kids here, staff are always friendly. Only downside is the price of bowling unfortunately.
