Not sure if this place includes the Escape Room as it's housed in the same building but it was my 2nd time there and both experiences were fantastic. The staff are just brilliant and looked after us so well. Did ten pin bowling too which was fun and enjoyed some refreshments after a go on some arcade machines.
Massively overpriced for the actual bowling and I’m now being fined £100 for parking for 46 minutes of parking as the server didn’t think of warning about the parking despite it being pitch black outside and none of our party saw any signage around this. What could have been a nice family night out has now led to me struggling financially for the week after paying overall £146 for 2 games of bowling and one drinknnI cannot find a way to respond to the businesses response below I will be visiting again at a similar time of night to take photos of the signage in the dark as none of our group saw this which means it probably wasn’t very Visible also it would have taken 10 seconds for the server to make our group aware at the time of the parking issues to avoid the issues. In terms of us ever spending money in your establishment again there is no chance!
Saturday in Stafford was horrible, the second time we celebrated our daughter's birthday there, spent a lot of money without thinking, hoping the whole family would have fun and relax but in return the manager's attitude was very contemptuous and racist, we brought our own food because we didn't know, there would be nothing to say if the manager came out and gently reminded us that we weren't allowed to bring food in here, we would have happily put it away but no, the manager shouted loudly for us to put the food away because it smelled very bad, he even brought a can of air freshener around us, sprayed it and muttered curses, I think each country has its own signature dish, if you can't eat it doesn't mean you have the right to criticize, swear, despise, maybe the manager not only criticized the smell of the food but also looked at us as Asians and not British, in the manager's eyes there was already a foul smell? We came to your country to work, live and study because your country is a civilized and polite country, and so are the people. But through yesterday's incident with the manager, the person in charge, I thought he had learned how to treat customers. But no, it was terrible and horrible, leaving my whole family disappointed and sad. It was an unforgettable humiliating experience brought by the manager. I will never come back again.
My son and i enjoyed our vist this morning. Sarah at tenpin Stafford was friendly and very polite.nShe is a credit to the team.nThank you for making our experience the best it could be
**Edit due to reply from Tenpin**nnThe barriers at this location are not automatic as claimed in the reply. They have to use a rod to manually pull up and lower them. Was told they’ll be getting automatic ones near Christmas/New year. You would think they would know this information considering it’s their company. Goes to show how much they pay attentionnn***********************************************nI bowl all over the country as I take bowling quite seriously. It’s the first bowling alley in a long time where the barriers aren’t automatic and have to be raised and lowered manually. Floor was filthy and gritty, felt like sand under your feet. To top it off the alley wasn’t fully functional and we were moved to a different equally dirty lane. Asked staff for a pair of bowling shoes and they strongly tried to discourage me from using them, eventually they opened up a cupboard where all the shoes were genuinely just chucked in. Overall very disappointing and easily the worst bowling establishment I have visited. Side note, drawstring pins ruin the game.nnFor the price, absolutely ridiculous. Will not be recommending this place. Do better
