Can see why this is so poorly rated. Softplay is limited by height, is dark and mostly you’re unable to view your child playing. You certainly wouldn’t hear if they were calling you due to the volume of music playing. Adults are NOT allowed in to support or encourage their children. Only if they “get in to trouble and need assistance” as the girl guarding the locks on the doors said.nFor the money, there are much better soft plays around the area. It’s worth a 5 min drive to stone to Come into Play and it’s cheaper.nAvoid this crock.nnWe also paid for a ticked in advance, not one of the staff acknowledged us waiting at the main bar area to confirm our booking or point us in the rite direction, despite there being no one else waiting.nnFor a Saturday, there was more staff than customers.nRubbish! Avoid
Great family fun for all ages.nAlso a Great place to meet with friends & have a drink & some fun.nFriendly accommodating staff.nIf going on a Tuesday, when it's half price, I would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment & long wait times.
**Edit due to reply from Tenpin**nnThe barriers at this location are not automatic as claimed in the reply. They have to use a rod to manually pull up and lower them. Was told they’ll be getting automatic ones near Christmas/New year. You would think they would know this information considering it’s their company. Goes to show how much they pay attentionnn***********************************************nI bowl all over the country as I take bowling quite seriously. It’s the first bowling alley in a long time where the barriers aren’t automatic and have to be raised and lowered manually. Floor was filthy and gritty, felt like sand under your feet. To top it off the alley wasn’t fully functional and we were moved to a different equally dirty lane. Asked staff for a pair of bowling shoes and they strongly tried to discourage me from using them, eventually they opened up a cupboard where all the shoes were genuinely just chucked in. Overall very disappointing and easily the worst bowling establishment I have visited. Side note, drawstring pins ruin the game.nnFor the price, absolutely ridiculous. Will not be recommending this place. Do better
Fell victim to the new parking charges, emailed over receipts and proof of transactions for the same time we were parked but they rejected it. Granted it’s the parking charge company rejecting it but I do feel Tenpin need to understand the negative impact it has on its business due to decisions been made by another company.
Mostly visit this place to play pool and go to the soft play area with the little one but it is becoming absolutely unbearable being here, for the two hours that we’ve been here I haven’t seen many tables cleaned including our one and it’s disgusting having to sit on sticky tables or step on crumbs everywhere. The soft play area itself is good can’t comment on how clean that is because I haven’t seen it even be clean and it doesn’t feel that way, but this could be done when it’s closed at the end of the day.. I truly hope so as if it’s cleaned as often as the tables, that’s really unpleasant. Hire more staff if you need to but you can’t leave dirty tables for hours on end, totally unacceptable:/
