Stayed over while away on business. Great hotel, spacious room and friendly welcome. Great location with a nice pub and shops a very short walk away. Very easy access to M6/A500/A50. Good breakfast, too. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic little find! It's just off the motorway which was great. 
Stopped here driving from Glasgow to Newquay. 
The service is fantastic, ok could be a bit more modern decoration wise but the place is great.
The dogs were happy which is also a big thing but they settled well.  
Breakfast in the morning was fantastic can't fault it.

Lovely friendly place.  Nice homely feel and always get a nice welcome.  Full English breakfast very tasty.  Dog friendly hotel as well.  This was my second time staying and would definitely go back again. 😀

It seems to be a father and daughter who run the place. Pleasant enough. If you want food apart from breakfast, they don't do it. But if you go to the Plough up the road it has a carvery besides other pub fare. The double bed we had had springs that were very uncomfortable. The duvet was very thick and heavy and the heating the room was too high. On the whole it's cheap so you get what you pay for.
