We had pleasant 2 night stay here on business recently, and though some rooms seemed a little dated, the setting was great, all areas spotlessly clean, and the staff very helpful and friendly. 
Breakfast was super, plenty of choice and all cooked food fresh and hot. If I'm honest dinner was pub standard, but it was inexpensive so that was fine. The restaurant/bar staff put in a great effort, and I'd thank them specifically.

Bar service is pretty poor, not enough staff working. The hotel it self is very grubby and could do with a refurb, looks very dirty. The food for the wedding was really nice so hats off to the chefs!!

Late check in whilst a wedding and the card machine was playing up but the staff were great about it and had a lovely chat with them. Rooms felt a little tired and the shower was a touch temperamental. Found a dead moth in the floor towel. Not enough to complain about considering the price.

I asked at reception if the room had two single beds as requested since I was staying with my daughter. However when we got to the room it had a double bed and a sofa bed, which was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Did not meet its 10 out of 10 promise. Come on holiday Inn don't make a promise you cannot keep. When I  mentioned this to the reception in the morning to the reception, response was just a shoulder shrug!
