Had a restful and lovely stay at the hotel whilst doing building works to our house.nGeorgia was really helpful when it came to information regarding me being able to work from the hotel and making us feel welcome.nThe shower and wash facilities are all in good condition, not having to worry about petrol is a plus!nWiFi connection was key for me on this trip the connection was exceptional and not once dropped out.nIf you need somewhere to stay guaranteed you will have peace of mind!
The food was delicious and had good portions. Service was fine and everything looked clean. However, if you are looking for a full service hotel, this is not the place. All rooms are the same so wasn't able to upgrade when we got there and desired a bigger room. No fridge and only the bare minimum of amenities, ie toiletries. So, if you're wanting a no frills place to stay, this would be a good choice.
Went to check in into a hotel a few metres away from this hotel and was disgusted that I could not get my wheelchair through the reception door although they reckoned it was measured using a wheelchair!!!! Managed to book into the Holiday Inn Express next door and I am so glad we did and will definitely be using it again in the future if needed, reception area stunning, tidy, decorated gorgeous for Christmas and huge, staff super super friendly, kind and helpful, accessible room was so big and spacious we could of had a party in there!!!! The accessible bathroom was outstanding, 2 sinks, one high, one low, for me it was just a bit too low but manageable, the lady at breakfast was super happy, friendly and helpful, couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!!!! Can’t wait to come back.
The breakfast was really good and the breakfast staff were amazing. I had a really bad night on the first night due to rude noisy guests in the next room and my room smelled fusty and horrid on the second night which was awful. I think it was down to smelly cleaning cloths when the room was cleaned that day. The evening staff were also very nice and friendly which was a bonus. I would stay again because the staff make this hotel.
Great hotel. Very smart. Room was brilliant and Comfortable. It was a nice touch having spotlights and a sofa in the room. The bathroom was clean, with a huge walk in shower big enough for two! Breakfast was good. We choose a cooked one, but there was cereal as well. Definitely would love to return
