Absolutely brilliant stay here while attending a near by festival. Amazing staff who were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Room was perfect with a good strong shower, comfy bed and a good choice of pillows. Breakfast was also spot on with decent coffee and lovely well kept clean area to eat.nI also want to give extra praise to Matthew who went above and beyond. We will 100% be back next time we’re in the area.
Lovely stay. Great big comfy bed. The hotel was busy but no noise heard in our room.nHot shower with good pressurenNice breakfast, though lacking mushrooms and black pudding.nGreat selection of cereal, yoghurt and fruit. Nice idea with the help yourself jam, honey and hazelnut spread.
Pretty standard Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was one of the worst dining experiences ever. The staff were lovely. Food items were okay when they were there,very busy. The problem? Removal of standard sized plates for smaller ones. Apparently to cut down on waste. Trying to fit a standard Breakfast on a small plate, hell no.
First class stay at Holiday Inn Express, great professional service from all staff members. Room and breakfast were excellent as was the shower and room facilities tea, coffee, towels and toiletries, maid service daily and carried out at a sensible time too. Although the only slightly negative comment would be if you have booked a room with a door to an adjoining room it isn't 100% soundproof, saying that I didn't feel the need to ask to be moved to another room because of it. All in all a very pleasant and trouble free three night stay.
Only let down is be prepared to eat your breakfast off a plate the size of a saucer! and eat warm bread. Doesn't matter how many times you put it through the 'toaster'. Staff are great and the place is spotless. Beds and pillows are superb.
