Avoid. A staff member - who I will refer to only as Dr L - asked me on more than one occasion where I was from when I am obviously Scottish and have been registered at this practice for decades. She asked me this because I have an accent that is not local and she is evidently hostile to people from other parts of Scotland when ALL Scots are entitled to NHS treatment regardless of which part of the country they come from. More appallingly - when I spoke about having been sexually abused as a child - she instantly snapped back "And when was your abuser jailed?" when it is commonly known that abusers are not normally jailed in cases of historic abuse due to the absence of witnesses and evidence. I believe that I am right in saying that she was grossly offensive in implying that it was a lie. A cursory glance at my case notes would show that this matter has actually been in my medical records for over 25 years. I believe that her behaviour quite probably amounts to a disciplinary matter. Her attitude was hostile and extremely unprofessional. She also expressed derision and disbelief when I said I was a graduate. A complaint to the practice would amount to nothing but It is good that the internet provides patients with the opportunity to leave accurate feedback and I hope that the surgery will take effective action when it is brought to its notice when staff behave in such a self-indulgently aggressive and shabby manner. The staff member in question would be very unlikely to be able maintain employment in the private sector

I don't get it, Im told at 8.10 they are not open till 08.30, yet if you all check the Internet it says open at 08.00. So what is it?! Someone's late into work or they have changed practice opening hours yet advertise 8am?!

The doctors are amazing and really professional and helpful. However, the place has it's downsides. 1. There is no waiting line service for the appointments line, so it's down to dumb luck if you manage to get through in a morning to book an appointment. 2. No online booking available, as someone with long term health issues being able to book in advance online when I know what my work schedule looks like is a million times easier than trying to call and not get through. 3. The place is hot as hell. Like everytime I go it's like sweltering. But as I said, the most important fact is that the doctors I've seen have all been great and really helpful!
