Fantastic service, Ben is the hairdresser to go to. He listens to what you are actually asking for and delivers a cut that you can style...and grows out lovely. The advice he gives and suggestions as well goes a long way. So happy to have found Ben at HOB Salon Bushey

I love having my hair done at this salon. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and polite and do a great job at making the client feel at ease. I went for a model hair cut and this means that the trainee takes a bit longer than expected. However, a trainer and more experienced stylist checks over the hair, guides the student hairdresser and also corrects the hair when they have done it wrong. The shampoo experience here is always great and there is no hard-core selling of any products. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!
Tried to book a haircut with either 1 of 2 hairdressers I’ve been visiting at this HOB for the last 2-3 years. I was advised that they have both left since my last haircut 4 weeks ago one apparently this morning. I booked a cut anyway with a new guy. I have always had my hair cut and beard trimmed for £31.50 since I have been coming here. After my haircut where the service was nowhere near the previous hairdressers - rushed and didn’t even show me the back of my head after the cut, I asked for my beard to be trimmed and was told that today this would be an extra £10. I informed the new guy that I had always paid £31.50 for everything. His response was that I’ve never had my hair cut by him before and these were his prices and I was obviously just getting a good deal before, so take it or leave it. Management were around and they are fully aware of the price I have been paying for the last 2-3 years but said nothing. I paid an extra 25% for a service which wasn’t even as good as usual. Poor business practice from the management here. No customer loyalty. This was my last visit to this HOB. Will try find one of the quality guys that has recently departed from here instead and go direct.
Went in today to have a drastic cut as I believed my hair was damaged beyond repair after years of abuse. After talking to Naomi and Paul they talked me through what options I had and assured me that they could repair and transform my hair into something beautiful. I was not disappointed! When I saw what they had done with the cut and colour of my hair I couldn't help but shed a tear as I never thought my hair could look so good. Would definitely recommend anyone to go there as I came out feeling amazing!

Great place to get haircut, male or female. They also do nails, hair styling and dying. It is not the cheapest place but you do get a quality haircut. Have been going to hob for the last 10 years and have never had an issue. I would advise going off peak times during the working day. As it can get quite busy!
They don’t care about customers, they rush and are only concerned about money. Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. Booked a blowdry and got paired with Johnny who apparently only has the skill to do a ‘straight blowdry’. I wanted a straight blowdry with volume, I showed him the pic of exactly how I wanted it, he said he could do it but this guy created skunk hair. Volume was awful and static. He fried my hair with the amount of heat and times he would go over my hair with the hairdryer. My hair is normally healthy and silky so this is horrible as it is so damaging for my hair. He had me in the mosr awkward positions when blowdrying, i had to bend my whole back and have my face down to my knees for part of the blowdry and then he had all my hair over my face for the rest of the blowdry. The way he sectioned my hair was awful and uncomfortable too. I told him I was unhappy and some other lady tried to fix my hair but obviously she couldnt as he fried my hair completely. I cried because it was the worst blowdry I have ever receieved. The staff did not show any empathy or make me feel better. They insisted they did a good blowdry even when clearly they did not and saying that I only asked for a straight blowdry and I got that. I got a terrible straight blowdry. How can you even mess that up? The worker was unskilled and the staff were unprofessional. Never coming there again. Stay clear
