They listed a lot of vinyl in the 3 for 55 on their website and although I understand they can't stock everything I thought the actual selection was quite poor.
On Thursday me and my friends were treated very disrespectfully and rudely by a staff member with reddish hair who made us feel very uncomfortable. Firstly, telling us to move away from the stairs, which we didn’t hear her saying through no fault of our own, to which she started yelling “can you hear me”in a really rude and intimidating manner, then moments later she audibly was talking very disrespectfully and unprofessionally about us to another colleague on the shop floor for a couple of minutes, which made us feel very uncomfortable as we did nothing wrong and caused no trouble. This had us feeling very unhappy and leaving the store not long afterwards.
Employee was very rude and called me and my friend “twats” to a co worker. She had glasses and brown/ blonde ish hair and was quite small. This is the last thing i wanted to hear while trying to shop peacefully. absolutely terrible.
Staff are very good and helpful No complaints there. However I feel HMV is slowly going downhill. The selection is poor and doesn't seem to want to, attract customers anymore. The figures and Funko Pops on offer is not good, and what I am interested in, seems to be an extortionate price.
I have just called into your store with someone I support who has learning difficulties.He is a loyal customer of yours who calls in every couple of weeks to buy cds.Today he wanted to buy a couple of cds and he had a gift card.The assistant said that it hadn’t been activated so he had to ring the number.I asked her if she could do it for him and another assistant said out loud why don’t you do it!!She wasn’t serving anyone so she could have done it.The person who I was with who has autism couldn’t understand what was going on so we decided to go.I felt sorry for him as he is a good customer of yours. When you are dealing with the public a little bit of kindness goes a long way !
Great store. Lots of pop culture items now which is great. Super friendly staff helped us find what we needed in the music section. Super clean and nice atmosphere.
Damn, such a wonderful place for a nerd. So many vinals, books, posters and countless amount of items I would love to have in my place.
Always enjoy coming here. Large vinyl section. Have lots of great deals on. Staff happy to help.
Great store, lack of band t-shirts but other than that it had everything I was looking for!
Decent store with good selection of film, music and collectibles. Horror and cult / collectors DVDs and Blurays is good.
