Felt like entering a mortuary on private land ….they really don’t want to be there and any question seems a bother, effort and met with derision. Two chaps one seemed like he had the weight of the world, the other was in love with his phone. Liverpool has plenty of record shops this is one that should be a historical footnote and will be quite soon, on all accounts
Okay selection of records, but the bald gentleman behind the counter is one of the most rude member of staff I have ever met. Didn’t even say hello or acknowledge I was there paying! If it wasn’t for him, I would return. But unfortunately, he’s that rude, I’d tell all to avoid. Horrible little bald man.
Superb shop. Great selection of vinyl and prices decent. Guy at counter couldn’t have been nicer. It’s not an electrical shop where you get harangued on entering the premises!!!! Loved it and got a couple of wee treats
Fantastic shop, great range of alternative music, don't expect to find any Adele or ABBA in there. People have been slating the staff in there in other reviews, what do they want? A big song and dance whenever they walk into a shop? A cup of tea or coffee and a few biscuits? Get a grip.
Great shop shame it's tucked a little of the beaten track but still awesome selection. I purchased a stone roses album still shrink wrapped there was funny messages left in between the albums and the pink floyd comment made me chuckle will be definitely put having from here quite a lot in the very near future. As for the staff being unwelcoming. I actually like when I go into a shop and a member of staff doesn't pounce on you offering help I prefer to be left alone to browse St my pace
Probe, a legend in its own lifetime. A lot of these reviews seem to focus on the staff who will leave you to your own devices but if you want to know something, ask. They're all sound and know what they're talking about. The records are all well-priced and lovingly curated - the custom record blurbs they stick to the covers are a nice touch and pretty funny on occasion. I don't really know what the negative reviews here are about or what the authors want from their 'shopping experience'. These are the kind of places we should be supporting not slagging off. 5*'s.
WARNING: MISERABLE MAN RESIDES HERE:
Very rude staff, very limited selection will not be returning
A great shop easy to find with the blue doors, a must for psychedelic 60s&70s music. Rare vinyl at a decent price, very good staff to talk to about the local music scene, the odd rsd release in the racks & you'll get definite neck strain looking up at the walls of vinyl but it's worth it. Check out Michael and the angelos.com which the shop promotes anyone who's a fan of scooby doo will love it
Awful customer service. Didn't acknowledge me at all. Didn't even look up. No other customers . Even came to stand next to me to sort out records, as a result I couldn't even look at them. All reproduction lp's too. Avoid.
