Finished my book during travelling around so need another one so I can ready on my way back to London. Nice location and good service. A treasure of books available for all kind of.
This may be my most favourite Waterstones branch. They have a great selection of every genre and enough space to browse at ease. The cafe is also good in terms of food and friendly service. I loved all the the vegan cakes I tried.
I visit here at least twice a week to read and for a bite to eat. It's one of the better, more relaxed Waterstones, but not the most comfortable. Whoever made the decision to remove the comfortable armchairs from around the store really needs to think again! Poor decision.
How times have changed! I went to Waterstones to buy a book on advanced spreadsheets and databases in the not so distant past they had a whole section of shelves of computer related books that would take you a good while to browse through on a recent visit there were only two shelves tucked away in a corner.
This is the best waterstones store I have visited. I though the Ground floor was awesome, then I discovered another floor with a cafe! Absolutely rammed with all sorts of books, I lucky enough to get my hands on a couple of rare books and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Will be visiting again with the family and to sample the cafe, can't wait to return!
Choosing books with the kids and great selection, inviting area and table and seats to look through choices. The lady at the children's section checkout was really friendly with the kids and offered an Easter chocolate as well as a sticker or bookmark. Made book buying an exciting event on a rainy day!
If you like the smell of fresh books and coffee then Waterstones is the place to be. If you have children then it has a whole floor-almost-dedicated to children's books. Has nice little seating areas for your kids to get introduced to the beauty of a good book. Also has toilets next to the children's section which is very convenient. The coffee shop is a bit open plan. If you want to sit and have a quiet coffee with a book then then Waterstones fails to provide this-a missed opportunity-in my opinion. Overall a great experience for all you book worms. 5 stars from me!
Very organised store over two floors. Couches to read and a cafe upstairs. Good mix of books on offer. Most importantly, a peaceful oasis full of that new-book smell. ‍
I came here on a day trip to Liverpool. It was very busy I've never seen a Waterstone's this busy before. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Was helped today by Catherine and Elaine. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly. it's also great to see how much they enjoy their jobs I will be coming here again
