Post office upstairs is the biggest joke I've ever experienced, 3 people in to staff the whole place. 1 of which a trainee, who kept making mistakes the others had to fix. Only 1 qualified to do travel money. I waited an hour to get to the desk. At which point I asked to exchange pounds to euros. Was told at this point I needed a physical copy of my passport which I didnt have but had a picture, no good. I couldve gone home and back to get it in the time I waited to speak to the lady on the desk. What a waste of my precious Saturday afternoon. Not only that, the rates they offer are 10% less than the true exchange rate at current. Absolute joke of a place employing incompetent people. Go elsewhere for your travel money.
Terrible experience. Manageress extremely rude and very unhelpful I arrived at the post office window no one was in the queue, but still had to wait, not a problem. But when manageress found the time to serve me told me I needed to follow the taped of area at the counter which meant walking up and down each isle. I pointed out there was no one else In the queue that’s why I just cut across. She was extremely rude to the point we’re I walked out horrible person. I think she could benefit from a refresh course on how to deal with the public.
Crazy expensive but polite staff. So many cards.
Great service. Postcards, Stamps and lots of magazines. Friendly staff
Visited 09/03/2021 11am Fantastic help from a member of staff named Rachel. The new self serve machines can be a little confusing, however Rachel was swift, polite and professional in helping me with my package. Too bad the same can't be said about the manager I assume who was loud, rude and more than happy to insult her staff underneath her breath. Very unprofessional and according to other reviews on here this isn't the first time she has been like this. What a shame.
Quite disappointing. The most interesting thing was the post office at the top floor. The store did feel a bit cramped and lacked books such as revision guides and textbooks. If you're looking for the basic then this is fine, but expect to be disappointed if you're looking for something that's a little unusual such as a specific textbook.
Shocking to see a member of staff today. Being arrogant to a polite teenager asking for help . You had short dark hair. Credit wear credit is due. Nice to see a lovely polite teenager and not lowering her standards down to such a unhelpful arrogant member of staff
Post office .Awful waiting time only one lady 'god help her ' on the tills to get money out .must have waited 15 minutes. Blonde lady was lovely who served me but she needs help .Hire more Staff .
It ok for books magazines also post office on site
Usually very helpful but did not advertise the fact that post office was closing early on New year's Eve. States 5.30 on website. Very annoying when you have brought several parcels into city centre with you.
