We attended the restaurant as a group of about 30 and where shown to our table which had glasses prepared for us to order wine etc which was great until a few where dirty, we're not an overly fussy family so instead of complain we just ordered our drinks and passed the dirty ones to those drink larger etc to make it easier, however we then to wait a further 15 minutes for a couple of people on our table to receive their drinks which in the end we only got when I went to the bar to find out what was going on, so a bit of a rough start to our meal but we carried on and got on with it then we where asked to order, up on the table being booked the restaurant was informed two vegetarians and two vegans would be attending and they said that was fine and alternatives would be made available this was not the case which lead to 4 people on our table while everyone else had carvery, roasts and meals of the like eating what can only be described as bland, tasteless risotto which had clearly been fumbled together with bits of basic veg in to bolster the colour in the bowl. To make this worse when my niece said she was unsure what she wanted the waitress (only person in all black uniform so I presume managment) rolled her eyes and scoffed and while my dad was having a conversation she got his attention by pointing an click and shouting "oi you" I don't believe this is good practice and it's a shame as most issues come down to the way the lady in question handles guests she's rude, condicending almost barging one of the kids over without apology. The rest of the staff where busy but lovely and put their all into making what could of been a very unhappy table into satisfied customers however for the unprepardness of managment, bland food, and unacceptable levels of rudeness I will not be going back and I do hope the £45 tip that was handed to the rude and arogent lady found its way into the pockets of the waiting staff who where significantly better.
