Be aware of extra fees added to your stay resort fees along with $100 deposit and and staying price. The fees were not displayed and told up front so you can plan accordingly. The rooms are below average but the view is pretty decent. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my friends or family and I will not be staying there either.
First hotel in a long time that didn't disappoint, unlike most places that only look cute online! The view from my balcony was amazing, the room was very nice, clean and comfortable, and service was top notch. Really enjoyed my short stay!
We stayed in an AirBnB unit which is separate from the hotel. It wasn't well kept but that's on the owner, not the hotel. Very good location and good value. Only real complaint is the elevators. Only two for a 30 plus story building. Add 15 minutes to your journey for elevator wait times. Additionally, $25 daily to self park your car is ridiculous. Lastly, pool area not big enough for so many guests. Get down there early.....before 9am to grab a chair.
Do not book this place. I made a reservation through booking two months before my trip, the price was great. However, only after my credit card was charged did they send me a message saying that I had to pay an additional $200 cleaning fee and that if I didn't pay that, they wouldn't let me stay. They are smart and want to rip people off on that cleaning fee because once your card is charged you can't ask for a refund. Why didn't they notify me before? Because they simply want to keep our money the wrong way. There was nothing in the specification about a cleaning fee, just a deposit and parking fee. I felt cheated and frustrated, as they only warned me 20 days before my trip. Bad and dishonest!
Great location. Nice view from 8th floor overlooking the waterway. One bed in the room was too close to the balcony door made it unsafe to easy walk thru. TV mount did not move , shower head needed repair, not enough towels in the room , sheet was placed over comfortable, a lot of small issues for the price . Front area did not have a snack area after 5pm . Just go for the location.
This place is NOT a "resort". JUST SAY NO! Pictures are very deceiving. The restaurant has wine and beer and a lady that makes sandwiches, not a real restaurant/bar. Watch out for extra fees like $75/day parking and $50/day processing fees, on top of the resort fees already paid. Toilet and phone was broken and sheets and towels were dirty. For the money paid for this "resort", you would think they could do better than 1-ply toilet paper. Please do your research before booking at Beachwalk.
If I could leave 0 starts I would. This place is super dirty, I arrived and the sheets and towels had LARGE stains everywhere. I called the front desk to request for the room to be cleaned and to have the stained sheets and towels replaced the literally told me they don't clean rooms unless its requested and they charge for the cleaning. They said they could offer me "Complimentary" sheets and towels which they left it in the room and they all had stains as well. They charge you a temporary hold of $200 in case something happens, which they never returned to me so they are ripping off customers. Save your money and go to a clean place.
Front desk very sweet. However, best views are 25th floor and above not noted on website. We got 3rd floor and everything was musty. Our floor was damp and stains all on carpet. When we called to speak to someone, they took information and someone was supposed to contact me that day . That was over 10 days ago. You pay a good amount of money and service was terrible and no repreive .Very sad. We could have given the money to a business more deserving
The most terrible hotel anyone can possibly book, the hotel staff are very rude, take a lot of time to do anything if they even do, room keys are always unmagnitized and the building has only 2 elevators which take approximately 20 minutes to reach any floor. We have also requested an additional bed and a few blankets all which were promised by the desk lady, but when we called after 3 hours they said that they couldn't give any and said it was our problem. And the parking lot pass always malfunctions. Please do not stay at this hotel. Noteworthy details: Terrible service, terrible workers at front desk, awfully long wait time for elevators or amenities, and keys don't work half the time.
This place is absolutely disgusting. The beds had bugs, hair, blood stains and unknown fluid. When you ask to speak to a manager no one is ever available. I had to drive 3 hours back home after a long night. It was awful. Now I have to fight to get my money back.Rooms: 1/5
