Nice vibe. Great for family celebrations. Good friendly service. The food is well cooked, nothing fancy but at a good honest price.

Was gutted about every of my night there with friends. Waiter was rude, my lamb was really dry and friend had a T Bone stake and managed to get 2 or 3 mouthfuls of meat it was mostly grissel, the tables we tiny there were 8 of and there was nowhere to put anything. I like I said it was such a shame

Visited today with friends for a carvery Sunday roast this afternoon which was excellent value at £14.95 for a 3 course meal....We were offered a varied choice of starter which they served to us then the carvery which was really lovely and the portions were huge!! Miles better than Toby carvery where they serve stingy measly thin slices of meat...at Highland they serve you thick slices...I wasn't sure which meat to go for there was pork, Turkey and beef....So I asked for a slice of each and I was given thick generous slice of each....I couldn't eat the food on the plate so I asked to take it home for later......the dessert choices were good, tiramisu, lemon or strawbeerry cheesecake or chocolate fudge cake or fresh strawberries with cream which were really yummy!!! It was excellent value for money, portions were very generous and the staff were really friendly and helpful.....service was fab!! Would definately come back again....you need to book though as it gets very busy!! Especially at the weekends on Sundays for the roast.....

Food was good but I do find the restaurant a little on the chilly side, waiters could do with a smile once in a while.
