Very good food, reasonably priced. A nice environment and welcoming open fire. No loud music and pleasant helpful staff providing excellent service. The pub is in a decided setting with good car parking. There a pleasant walk nearby too.

Great pub down by the canals. The steak and mushroom pie was generous though the meat in the pie was a little dry. having lots of gravy made the dry meat almost unnoticeable.

Fantastic pub always warm and welcoming. Lovely location on the river. Have had lunch there on several occasions recently and always delicious, high quality well cooked and presented food. Highly recommend!

Excellent location by the river. Friendly and welcoming. Real ale selection limited to x3 St Austell beers. Wider choice of breweries would be welcome but appreciate pub is part of a group and selection probably controlled. Having said that my pint of Proper Job was well kept. Although didn't have time to eat, the menu looked good and will probably visit again.

Great place and great food. It's not the place I see in some of the bad reviews on here at all. I can imagine in the summer months it gets a bit hectic so probably can be a bit different but most of the times I've been it has been really good. Had Ham, Egg and Chips yesterday which is a bit of an old school meal but it was really fabulous with perfect quality ham, which was really tasty with some mustard alongside. Superb
