My green bin was not emptied today, no sticker why. Trying to get in touch is so far impossible especially as the number listed not in use anymore. Why do I pay for my green waste and it’s not collected.
The most unhelpful people ever ! If you are homeless, and worse, homeless and with some disability, please look for help elswhere !!! No human contact, only over the phone or email.. I had to fill online app for the home choice.. did so, but apparently some dicuments were missing, so I had to send email with missing docs. But some, I had only as an attachement in my emails. I was struggling, as all was meant to be sent as 1 email.. i called my case worker and she suggested I go down to council and someone should be able to help me there.. but I was sent to phone station to call another team! When finally someone answered, it was rude woman, who was not letting me speak and properly explainen my difficulties!! I was meant to call my case worker and upload my documents !!! Its ridicules I wouldn't go there if I could do that myself !!!! This calls for official inquiry ! Some changes need to be done ASAP !!!
Amongst a whole host of other things you don’t attend to, you offer a website called Fix My Street, which I assume ticks yet another box to say you’ve done your duty but I read the same complaints from the public over and over again. Do you actually attend to these matters because I don’t believe you do? If you do then you need to respond in the website because it makes for depressing reading about what should be according to our council tax at least a decent area!
I wrote a review a few months ago, which was so damning I think that it's been removed. The receptionist is unhelpful in the extreme.
let us see When I called earlier on various issues it took over 20 mins to get through About the same on the disable number. Neither seemed to have a dedicated complaints number to call, and both lines dumped the call without a thanthyou when the questions got into speaking to a manager. I never had a problem in the past passing a complaint over to a manager, maybe I just bid my job correctly in the first place that I never got a complaint. Let it be stated now that I have repeatedly asked to speak to a manager on many issues in the past both as able-bodied and disabled and they seem to have certain issues. I could run the colour issue maybe by getting someone to log the same complaint, but I think they are just too plain stupid to deal with anything other than hitting a rock on a twig
Absolute abomination that has remained in our lived for a decade with nothing to show for it but inflicting, abuse, harassment and creating fear, High Wycombe Social services, Children's team and Children's with disabilities team, do not take care of the children in the area instead they harass and strain and treat families like they're in prison rather than finding ways to benefit, flourish and excell the children in their care, it's so unfortunate that gaurdians feel villianiased especially gaurdians of children with disabilities just for having a disabled child, rather then offered help to give a more suitable experience to said disabled child. If I could give negative stars I would.
Very bad experiences with the council. Penalising residents for having cars by, and I quote, 'not recognising a pending residents permit as a permit' and forcing them to pay penalties although the fault was theirs as to why the permit was not given. An error from someone in their system refused a permit with the same information that was approved a week later, in my opinion they thieve from the residents through parking and through extorting large council tax fees from them. I'm very disappointed by these people that are supposed to 'represent' us residents.
No surprises to see the lowest ratings for an institution that is supposedly there to care & to provide services to us as the local population of tax payers who are paying the salaries. Buckinghamshire is one of the most affluent counties of the UK yet we are expected to deal with a third world service, nothing short of embarrassing & shameful. In addition, the pandemic is over, they have no excuse, this is years of poor management, misuse of funds & recruitment of poor staff. A shockingly toxic culture prevails & as other reviewers have said, top to bottom, from senior management to section supervisors & call takers, the organisation appears to be full to the brim with incompetent, lazy dishonest & often abusive & patronising staff. After many attempts of needing to resolve my query/complaint, I was subjected to the misfortune of dealing with a ‘team leader’ by the name of Shamim Akhtar; unsure as to why this person is even employed there let alone being apparently long standing & given a TL position when there are thousands out there with whom she could be replaced by & who could do a far better job. Senior management are clearly too weak to deal with the likes of her who have their feet under the table & feel secure & invincible in their employment. Despite my being polite pleasant & professional, this employee behaved in the most rude, uncaring, dismissive arrogant, bitter & unstable manner. Perhaps training, counselling & strong medication might assist her as well as a disciplinary? Utterly shameful at a time when so many vulnerable & distressed people are needing council services more than ever. These people are purposely unhelpful & uncaring & there is absolutely no sense of safety or security in dealing with them. I sincerely hope that this unfit-for-purpose institution of sorts is placed into some kind of special measures category & subjected to a thorough investigation.
Logged a streetlight not working on the 12th October 2021, then called the lighting team in December no help, then today I contacted the lighting team and they said there had been no notes to say if the lamp post had been looked at so I assume not. I've got no help and now the unhelpful chap on the phone said they will get back to me in 10days what a joke 3 months and still no further forward no wonder the council has such bad reviews. JUST A QUICK UPDATE 3 WEEKS HAVE GONE BY SINCE I LEFT THIS REVIEW AND STILL THE STREETLIGHT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. THE COUNCIL SENT ME EMAILS SAYING IN PROGRESS, PENDING WORK ETC AND YET STILL NOTHING!
They wouldn't even get that star,unfortunately i had to leave one to post!Been trying to get hold of someone to talk about my council tax as i started working last year so expected my payments to increase. Calling them but nothing,went down there spoke to the girl at desk she sent email to them to get back to me,again nothing,tried calling was 17th in queue got closer down and it cut off.Now im trying again 0300 number and it just cuts you off after shes finished talking its too busy. What are they actully doing there. You would really expect alot more better from a council here. Whoever runs these offices are not doing thier job. Its been 6months im trying to talk to somone. Absolutely a joke
