I was struggling to find a place that I could trust with my curly hair, then I met Laura at Hensmans, the kindest human being who completely uplifted my hair. She paid extra attention to detail and was very reassuring during the whole process. The staff at Hensmans went the extra mile to ensure I was happy and comfortable. Laura was really friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She knew exactly what my hair needed and she went the extra mile for my daughter too! I have curly hair and am extremely fussy, but Laura did a fantastic job. Definitely recommend!

My haircut was okay, not brilliant, and I will need to go for another cut elsewhere. I have a lot of hair which is wavy and has a coarse texture because it's greying. The senior stylist was very nice, unfortunately though she lacked experience of working with my type of hair so I ended up with shorter hair, but with insufficient de-bulking and structuring of the inner layers, so it has become more voluminous with not enough shape. Disappointing. If you have regular Caucasian hair you'll be fine here, but if you need specialist haircutting because you have thicker hair, and are used to high end results, this salon may not be able to cater for your needs. The appointments are time based slots which means if you have thicker hair even though it's mid length, you have to pay the long hair price, which I did. Furthermore, the massage chairs that are used when they wash your hair are not the most comfortable to sit on, and so if you suffer with neck or back pain, ask them not to turn it on as you may end up with more pain afterwards. The seats don't reach the basin well, so the hair wash was unpleasant and I got a lot of water and foam in my ears. All in all not the best experience nor competitive price wise based on the price paid for the cut, and the end result. Not at all what I expected.Service: Hairstyling
