Couldn't really eat my meal came straight out the fryer. Waste of ten pound I'll not be returning.
Used Deliveroo for first and last time. The price of Cod did not include chips and when I rang Henleaze refused to add. Fish tasty but extortionate as well as Curry Sauce. £17.93 for small fish and small container of curry sauce.Never Again.
Alright fish and chips, but the menu posted on google maps is out of date and most prices are ~50% more than listed and they don't take card!!!
Bought haddock and chips here on Friday and was extremely disappointed with the fish size! £7 something for two tiny pieces. But the worst thing about the meal was the foul ammonia/peroxide taste of the fish. Really horrible. 2 stars because the chips saved the extortionate amount.. somewhat. Wont be coming here again.
DO NOT EAT HEAR , CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE , FOOD IS AWFUL & TO TOP IT ALL THE CHAP BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS PICKING HIS NOSE!
Tried here a couple of times now, not really to my liking. Fish wasn’t great, not enough batter and mostly soggy not very crispy. Lots of chips for a small portion but again tasted soggy an undercooked. Curry sauce has been good in the past but didn’t have much flavour this time. The portions are good but also fairly pricey for the standard.
This is our go-to chipy. The staff friendly and the service is always good. 9 times out of 10 the food is fantastic, which to us is more than acceptable.
Excellent fish and chips. Staff very helpful. A little pricier than I'd usually expect, but wonderfully flakey fish and crispy batter are worth it!
