Really good Fish and Chips. Tasty, fresh, good quality and generous portions. Would definitely have again. Large Cod was so big we joked that it was a dolphin! Chicken nuggets were amazing. Definitely recommend them. Toilet and indoor seating onsite

Have been here quite a few times now since I moved near North Street 2 years ago and have never been disappointed. Last week I had a fish n chips which was virtually perfection, so just thought was at least worthy of a review!
had express lunch deals 1 with chicken chunks and 1 with cod and we loved it, good portion and chips cooked to perfection as well. Will come back and try other items on the menu :-
Visited here after the Balloon Fiesta based on reviews here. Wasn't too far away and we could head back to the Midlands easily. While the premises are nice I found the food somewhere between average and good. The food is freshly cooked but despite this it wasn't piping hot, just hot. The chips were not too greasy and a decent portion. The fish batter was crispy, not too heavy. The fish, while fresh was decidedly thin see the photo I added and looked like it needed a workout. All things pointed to an epic visit. Poshish website which had fish pie on the menu - but it had become extinct on our arrival and nice photos. But all in all was a bit of an anti climax. It was nice to get the food in a cardboard serving box. I almost want to give a fourth star for that. Potential is definitely there to raise the bar, I hope they do.
Really good value for the food we had. Plenty of chips and tasty fish Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger, Halloumi Burger, Pea Fritters, etc
Decent fish dinner here. I went for the cheaper Pollock option and am glad as I wouldn't have wanted to spend anymore. Slightly anaemic chips and the greaseproof paper in the box was useless. North street prices can't really argue with em ay
My go to place when I cannot be bothered to cook. Always have OAP meal, fantastic value and very niceFood: 3/5
