I arrived today 2 Nov. at the GP after 2 weeks of phone booking, arranged a check-up, and asked for a blood test. Because they don't bother to resend the message before or to send confirmation I didn't know exactly when I need to go and I arrived at the clinic early. why for Flu or another thing they send 100 text msg? I asked if it was possible to have the blood test early because just 1 person was inside. I didn't want to but after I raised my voice they put me in the waiting area. Also I called for a medical problem in 17 Oct in with a the cough persisted for 2 months, and Dr. Sadoon Fathi give me medicine without any control, which did not work. I keep wondering why it's so hard to do your job when GPs are empty?
I have been with this Practice for well over 10years now and Dr Abdullah was genuinely the best in the field. However, in the last 2/3 years the surgery as a whole has become progressively worse and have absolute 0 care, patience or understanding for their patients. The head receptionist Glena I believe her name is, blunt fridge bob with glasses and Practice Manager Sabrina have absolute no care or compassion or willingness to resolve any matters let alone get patients booked in or responsibly handle complaints. The doctors are still refusing to see patients and are begrudgingly forced to speak to a very small number of patients on the phone once begged!! I have been misdiagnosed by Dr Fathi, Dr Baldy - Grey who again at one point was a semi decent doctor, misdiagnosed my Sinus Infection causing years of further damage. Dr Abdullah, being the only semi decent doctor at this practice left, now does not want to help or assist her patients, refusing to help with sick notes, referrals even to the point of cancelling appointments and pushing patients onto other part time doctors who do not know your history. Leaving for the day before 4pm with her Husband Dr Fathi and apparently there is no appointments available, I suppose this explains why!! They simply dont care, and you’ll be lucky if dependant on their her mood she may help you!!! How horrendous for a Doctor to behave this way. Why are these doctors not being regulated?? Why are they not being forced to see patients as oppose to still adhering to ‘covid restrictions’ and refusing to help those in need, which ultimately they get paid for!!
The worst so-called medical care I've received in my life. Unhelpful and poor service. Impossible to get same-day appointment; call wait times of over an hour, likely due to NHS overload. Very poor continuity of care. When following up or getting a referral, it seems no one understands what the standard protocol is in order to communicate it properly to the patient. Difficult to follow up on your case due to poor, inconsistent, and confusing communication across staff and clinicians. Horrendous.
Horrible service. Called at 8am, waited 55 minutes in the queue just to be told they’re fully booked. Spoke to Alex the receptionist who was extremely unhelpful. I said it was regarding my dad who is very unwell but all she kept saying was call back at 8 tomorrow or fill out an e consultation. No effort, and don’t care attitude towards patients!
Just want to say a big thank you to Dr Afsana Bhuiya who, unlike some other doctors at this practice, is always so caring and willing to help. Dr Bhuiya genuinely cares for people which is a big relief when you are a patient. Both my mum and dad and my twins have health issues at the moment and Dr bhuiya has been amazing and always goes out of her way to help them. What I appreciate the most is her understanding. I have spoken to many doctors in the past who made me feel rushed and/or unbothered to do their jobs properly however, this is never the case with Dr Bhuiya. Dr Abdullah is incredibly nice and caring too. It is always so relieving when I get to speak to one of these two doctors when needed. I just wish they both worked more days at this practice. a HUGE thank you also goes to Shaniece who is the most helpful receptionist at HWS. Shaniece never refuses to help and always finds ways to resolve problems. She deals with all the queries in a professional yet caring manner. So thankful to her for all the times she's helped me. Dr Bhuiya, Dr Abdullah and Shaniece truly deserve recognition. Sadly, I can't say the same about the rest of the doctors and some of the receptionists at HWS.
Staff are extremely RUDE and condescending and contradict each other. Several times things have been sent to Hendon Way and they say they haven’t received them. It’s a shame because Doctors Abromav is actually amazing and very attentive.
Worst GP experience every time I call or ask for assistance. Never in my life have I met / spoken to such useless reception staff who think being rude gets them the best outcome. My sister who is partially deaf and has serious health issues experiences the same thing every single time. Customer service experience wouldn’t go a miss seeing as people that are calling are usually unwell anyway and don’t need to be dealt with in such a horrid way
Worst practice ever. Most incompetent, rude and ignorant receptionists and manager. I don’t know why this practice hasn’t been closed by now. They completely ignore people in need and show zero compassion. Appalling service, zero customer care, zero service, zero everything. Shame on yourselves, Hendon Way Surgery! I think everyone should write an official complaint to CQC or London Borough of Barnet. This practice cannot continue this nonsense.
Dra Abdula is such a caring and wonderful doctor. Hendon way Surgery, is coming back to natural status.
NHS should really take argent action against this surgery before any child or elderly person lose their life because of not providing any appointments to the patients. The staff are very unprofessional and rude to speak on the phone to them.
