Fairly easy to get appointments and the online system of ordering repeat prescription drugs works quite well as long as you want it at least every 3 months. Not so easy to see the same gp so only given a 4 star rating. All the GPs do their best but often people forget that they are humans and as such still don't know how to fix some things without trial and error. It's clean and efficient as far as I can tell. Wheelchair access is easy even to get upstairs. Overall I'd say a pretty good surgery. Suggestion: an email address or online way of sending things for the doctor's attention without having to take up their valuable time. Afterall we are in the age of technology and snail mail is great if you live near the postbox and can get to it unaided.

This surgery is in my opinion great, staff are helpful,nurses are fantastic,most doctors are great, only problem is long wait for apts.

Hard to get appointments, had ring back from doctor given wrong information Receptionist most unhelpful Also expensive fo hgv medical quoted £139 got it done at another doctors surgery for £60 big difference

To say they work in a care profession the reception staff at Hedon Group Practice are some of the most rude and uncaring people I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to, it's also near impossible to get an appointment when you actually want one and you will never see the same doctor twice. However if you don't mind waiting over a week to get an appointment and like being spoken too like you're inferior to someone with an NVQ level 2 in admin then I would definitely recommend coming here.

Tried to register here, they said on the phone they'd accept registrations from Aldbrough no problem at all. Drove there and filled out 3 different forms, they took them off me, filed them, and said they'd be in touch when they'd been processed. Then rang me a few hours later saying "sorry can't accept people as far as Aldbrough". Not showing very positive communication / knowledge by the staff. Wasted my time. Would avoid.
