It's not very often I write a review, I’m always too busy with life, but after my recent visit to Haymarket Dental, I felt it is not very often you come across such a caring professional dental practise who deserve more than 5 stars. I had a sensitive painful broken tooth which needed a crown placed to cover it, allow me to have a long term solution and improve its appearance. In the past I've had impressions taken and a few weeks to wait until the permanent crown was placed. Haymarket dental provided me with a new alternative to this in one visit. The tooth was examined thoroughly at the first appointment and I was given a full list of options and costs. As this tooth was visible I decided to have a porcelain crown placed. I do not like injections or dental impressions so I opted for their single visit Cerec crown option. At my second treatment appointment the tooth was numbed once at this appointment the tooth was prepared and my tooth and opposing teeth scanned. Dr Andrew Norman then designed the tooth on a computer and I went to do some shopping for 45 minutes as their clinic is 5 minute walk from Princes Street I returned still numb and the porcelain crown was milled, stained and glazed and cemented there and then. I left the appointment with my tooth fixed in this single visit. I am very happy with the appearance of the crowned tooth and would recommend this new type of treatment to anyone else. A great team, thank you.
