Beautiful town and very nice basic station with most of the facilities you can have. I had very comfortable night journey with GWR train. Had good sleep and breakfast in bed.nAt this station, you have facility for luggage safe, shower, breakfast. Good service for London and other destinations. I found the staff very friendly like locals and happy to help. Parking outside of station and bus station in front of station as well. Sea front few steps away. Overall like this station much.
Absolutely stunning day, the weather was great, wall to wall sunshine not a cloud in the sky.
It's very practical for me to stay in Penzance as there is a direct train & the B&B I stay at is within walking distance, as well as near a bus stop. The bus station is next to the railway station. I was able to explore a lot of Cornwall by bus & train due to the good transport service. Penzance is an interesting place with a great promenade with places to sit. There's a mixture of some lovely independent shops & a few branded ones, including a Tesco Express & Iceland. Chapel Street is a lovely old street to explore. Penzance is not an upmarket place, so is more affordable than places like St Ives. The Exchange art gallery & Pendeen House offer very different art exhibitions, & Newlyn Art Gallery is about a 20 minutes walk along the seafront.
Very good little station with friendly and helpful staff. Good services day and evening.
Excellent train station with good connection to Cornwall and the rest of the country.Good facilities;seating;food&drink outlets;customer service centre;staff very helpful and friendly.Fairly large station with good modern layout and helpful displays.Gets busy especially in the summer.
