Lovely place for a coffee stop plus anything up to a 3 course meal! A short walk around the site (even at this time of year) there was enough to see. Well worth s visit after the lovely new park on the common. Just remember to have cash as no cards accepted!

Good place to bring the kids for a snack or bite to eat after they've worn themselves out cycling, scooting or just playing in the playground. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside by the pond and wait for the resident robins to hop down for crumbs. If it's a bit damp or chilly, the wildlife centre inside has lots for them to look at and play whilst you're waiting for food. They also do great pizzas at the weekend in a wood fired oven!

Only had a coffee, pleasant enough but not striking.  Expected crowds for the fun run but found a table easily.  I'll be back again someday

Nice cafe does a lovely bacon sarnie on brown bread and coffee for just £3.50. Relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely place, but please make it dog friendly. Dog walkers are confined to sitting on benches outside the entrance. Perhaps you could put some pretty tables and chairs here to encourage dog walkers to stop and eat here. The entrance area could be made so pretty if the council could enhance it. 😁
