Lovely food. Staff very helpful. A nice rustic feel to the place. Haven't been here for ages but I will most certainly be returning soon.

I often come here for a walk to take photos as there is a lot of wildlife - especially flowers and birds. There are lakes, wooded areas and open fields. A church and old graveyards are located at one end. Perfect place for dog walkers. However, I would avoid the area after dark.

Great spot in the heart of Southampton for walking, running or just generally relaxing. Kids will love it here, there is plenty of space for running around and kicking a ball, and the play areas are well-equipped. You can park in various locations around the perimeter.

Amazing palace to take pets and overall a massive park which you could go for a run through or just take a stroll through. Since it's so big you can take a football and have enough room to have a little match. Just a fun place to be

Common is beautiful and best place to walk and feel relax. The only disappointing part is the new playground. Having a cafe in the playground is fantastic and guys who are running it are very polite. Only few things for Southampton council to think about for any future playground development:
Combination of sand and water is not a good idea and flowers are already damaged by sand.
Wooden benches are never dry due to regular rainy days. At least they could be warnished.
Most kids (mines and friends) love to have more slides or higher slides.
More swings are needed due to high number of kids.
Many places are muddy and flooded. Drainage is essential.
As a parent, I found it difficult to watch my kids when there are many gates for kids to scape. Specially when it is busy.
Big gap under the fence on east side.
Entrance from south is always muddy. Maybe a better drainage is required.
