About

On Your Bike are a family run business. We have been keeping the cyclists of London and Birmingham moving since 1983.

Story

We are very proud to offer quality bike brands such as Brompton, Trek, Whyte, Cannondale, Genisis, Ridgeback and Airnimal. We stock a wide range of clothing including brands such as Endura, Bontrager, Gore and Seal Skin, and extensive ranges of parts and accessories.

With large workshop facilities we can maintain and repair all makes of bike, and we are proud of our status as a Shimano Flagship and Campagnolo Service Centre.

We operate one of the largest bike rental and hire fleets in London and Birmingham which can be hired by the day or week.

All this is supported by a committed team who are focused on delivering the very best levels of customer service, which has resulted recognition and praise from our customers and trade media.

Thank you, especially to Michal - he was sensational, throughout - for the excellent service. Having signed-up for Ride London, I was desperately seeking a decent bike for hire and was pleased to find On Your Bike. The 'product' a deluxe, carbon road bike was perfect for the event and I really am pleased that I contacted them. Furthermore, although not advertised at the time, Michal opened especially to collect bikes after the event on the Sunday. As a huge bonus, they are roughly ten minutes' walk from the finish line, which is easily doable, even after an hours' long ride! This review is very late, for one reason or another yet I hope for any prospective hirers that this review helps you to find Michal and the team at London Bridge. I was cautious when hiring because the few other options either seemed very suspicious or did not offer a suitable bike. The people at On Your Bike are knowledgeable, the store is well stocked with anything you may need for your event or cycling, generally and I remain touched by the kindness and dedication of Michal, particularly, and the whole team. Utterly brilliant, throughout. Exceeded my expectations and cannot recommend highly enough! Thank you for everything: absolutely tremendous.
I had a wonderful experience throughout the bike rental process working with Michael from On Your Bike. I rented a couple of hybrid bikes which with saddle bags, lights, puncture repair kit, flat peddles, helmet, and locks. Pretty much everything we needed for our bike packing trip! Employees were friendly and accommodating and the bikes were great. London store was also conveniently located near the London Bridge Train station so getting to our destination couldn't have been easier. Will absolutely be back again!
I highly recommend repairing your bike at this shop as it operates on a walk-in basis. Scott the mechanic provided an excellent service. I came for a basic safety check and a repair on the back wheel but Scott went forward to wash the bike frame together with all components. He further devoted his time to explain how to effectively lubricate the chain when I came to collect the bike. The price offered was exceptional.
Excellent shop, I hired a carbon road bike for a sportive, the bike was in excellent condition and was comfortable and perfect for the event. I was able to bring my own shoes and saddle with no issues. It was also very well priced compared to other options in London.
The team at the London Bridge shop were very helpful. It was just before closing on a Saturday when most places would be thinking of finishing for the weekend when I called in to see if they had a low value bike spare in stock. They didn't have one new but the guys searched around in their workshop and found a spare that fitted my needs. Most shops would have probably turned me away as it was too close to closing time and they still needed to pack away their display items but they didn't - it was refreshing to come across such an approach to helping a customer. I know where to come for my next bike.
Really helpful team. Assisted me in purchasing a new bike and a bunch of gear lights, helmets, mudguard etc. When the tire went flat after the first ride with a puncture, they got it fixed immediately.
I’ve rented a hybrid bike from On Your Bike, and cycled Land’s End to John o’ Groats on it! The bike came in an immaculate condition, everything working, and except for one puncture I’ve had no problems with it whatsoever throughout the whole trip. I brought my own panniers, and it turned out that they didn’t fit the bike rack the ‘eyes’ in the rack was too narrow for the panniers hooks; fortunately I had an adapter set and the staff helpfully installed it for me. Great bikes, great service, great communication – I highly recommend OYB.
Excellent, Excellent service today we had a puncture before we had a big ride with our group. We went into the shop and we was helped so quickly, staff friendly. I will highly recommended this store much more helpful than Evans who are located below.
This review is for the bike mechanic. Dude’s a legend. Our pram tire blew out and he engineered a temporary fix on it that’s easily lasted over a 100 miles and three countries. We bought a new tire but his fix is going strong so letting this one ride for now. Thanks for saving the day!
Incredible service! I called the shop just 15 minutes before closing with an issue with my sons bike. They stayed open for me and quickly fixed the problem. Amazingly, they refused payment for the small fixes. Extremely fair, kind, and efficient.
