Great food and service with a smile :- the Mrs, the mother in law and i would go again. My steak was cooked just the way I like it medium and the limited time offer on the meal buy 1 meal get another meal for £1 was a bonus.

Eggs California. More like Eggs Scunthorpe. Didn't have to pay and the staff were nice. Edit in response to owner - They're supposed to be poached eggs. Not hard boiled.
Thankfully I haven't taken much notice of some to the reviews written. I have taken my entire family on several successive weeks and just booked again for this week. The staff have been exceptional. We have all the paraphernalia that 3 generations have and have been accommodated easily. The food always as expected and well priced. The kids love the salad bar which always a benefit. I just like the friendly family easy atmosphere. The place is clean and tidy. It's not posh dining and it's not posh dining prices! Thanks to all the staff who are spot on!
Been a few times and only had one near negative experience when the restaurant was clearly struggling with a shortage of staff, so I am willing to overlook it. The staff in general are very friendly and check in regularly to ensure we had what we need. Food is good, standard harvester fare. Affordably priced and the desserts are a treat. I particularly recommend the millionaires sundae.
Service was good by our waitress, but the salad bar seemed less fresh on our last two visits and one of them was on a Saturday so would have thought the salad would be refreshed regularly, the choice of sauces on the salad bar has also decreased. The lettuce was starting to brown. Burger was alright.
Went to a birthday party, staff were okay, food was okay. Had the battered halloumi and chips, slightly greasy but not bad, generous portions. Probably not the best place for vegetarians as the options are limited, salad bar was well stocked and it was all fresh.
terrible flat guiness and filthy menu. after looking at the disgusting Health hazard menu we left. why don't they wipe them....
Salad nice and well prepared. Starters of garlic bread and mushrooms also lovely. Main course of steak OK but would have preferred jacket potatoes to chips but was not on offer. Badly let down by rock hard bread rolls and a poor sweet menu and no cream for the liquor coffee my wifes favourite. Service was friendly and prompt.
