This Harvester is the best one I've been too. We were able to enjoy a family meal with 02 priority that allowed the kids to eat free. The salad bar had a lovely variety and was very clean. The kids meals were a great size the adult meals were perfectly cooked, piping hot. Our server was so accommodating and really catered for our needs. The ambiance was lovely. Definitely will return.
The food was delicious and the service by Jamie was amazing. Topped up our drinks several times at the machine, kept checking we were all ok and if we needed anything else. Very attentive and polite. Never had bad service here to be honest as the staff are always friendly but we couldn’t have been more looked after on this occasion.
Two stars , mainly because this Harvester is a hit and miss affair . One morning breakfast is awesome the next it is dire , Take a chance - you might never go back . Revisited. Greatly improved. Breakfast very scrumptious indeed. Hash browns great. If I had runny poached eggs the breakfast would have been perfect. Runny eggs Perfect
I use this Harvester regularly as it is brilliant for my children and we often have a voucher with money off, which we need in order to have some fun outside the house. I love the salad bar as it encourages myself and the children to eat healthy foods. Unfortunately, after this occasion, I ended up with food poisoning. I ordered the ribs and chips, same as I always do but within an hour of leaving the restaurant, it was all coming back out again. Sadly, it has put me off for now. I'd recommend your waitresses to wear lanyards that are clean as one lovely lady in particular was wearing one that was covered in all sorts of gunk - it was very off putting. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for the children and a fun play pack for them to do at the table whilst they wait for their food. Parking: Plenty of free parking available.
Was not very busy when I arrived, waited to be sat as the lady walked past chattering to someone else. Had to ask for salad bar to be topped up, got my dinner after1/2 hr after starter was cleared and when I got it, it was cold. I told the waitress which took it away and my ribs were hot the second time around but the chips and corn on the cob were stone cold, no could not be bothered to complain again so just ate the ribs
Unfortunately this place has gone a bit downhill, the service was good however we had dirty utensils, a dirty plate and dirty glass with lipstick on it. Toilet had no toilet paper. Good parking, free as long as you enter your registration plate on the tablet. Food was average, a few trays in the salad bar were empty.Food: 3/5
Went to this Harvester after the rush maybe on a Sunday. Our meals were ok, salad bar not so good. Service fine but I don't think we will be going back anytime soonFood: 3/5
We were the last table to be served as they didn't have enough staff. Turns out they didn't have any rotisserie chicken or Southern fried chicken although they didn't know that until they served what they thought was southern fried they didn't have any flatbread or onion nests either! They did apologise but to be fair that's half the menu gone. They forgot to remove a bottle of wine a a meal from the bill which again was sorted but we had to go & find them to get this done & they were having a heated discussion in the bar which was a bit awkward. Parking: Good parking & if you input your reg number you'll get parking free Wheelchair accessibility: This is quite good for wheelchair access as it's on one level but the tables are a bit close so you'd need to mention when booking that you use a wheelchair.
We was seated very quickly in arrival, Kimberly served myself and partner. She had great customer service skills and our food come really quickly. Will come again soon.
Located at Main Road in Gidea Park, Harvester has a spacious car parking area behind it. I had a delicious Ribs and Chicken with corn on the cob and for dessert a Vanilla Cheesecake, all at a fair price. The service needs improvement but the staff are nice.
