We had a good experience here with the family. This branch which I hadn't even heard of has more of a country pub vibe. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating for our three families and kids and we're kind enough to tailor the meals to specific preference. The food, as you'd expect from Miller and Carter was very good. Cooked as you liked it and tasty even for those that like to ruin their steaks by having them well done. All in all another positive experience and a restaurant I'd recommend for large family gatherings.
Absolutely beautiful place with stunning views and surroundings. Service is amazing and very well priced for the quality of the food. Can’t wait to go back and they do amazing deals on their yummy cocktails!
Great steak restaurant serving Masters of Steak accredited cuts. I shared a Chateaubriand, which was fantastic. There's also a good children's menu, with steak included. Atmosphere was good, with a very busy service on new year's day. Staff are great and really look after their tables. The drinks selection is also nicely varied. Kid-friendliness: Nice children's menu.
We came Thursday night, our waiter James, was very entertaining, attentive and catered to our every need. Our table had a very pleasant experience and we all had a very lovely evening and meal. Very much would recommend.
Popular for birthdays. At least 2 others celebrate tonight. Be careful when ordering, you get what request. Sides chips could be extra . Birthday person gets a surprise if you tell them in advance Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families in tonight Parking: 2 car parks if you know where to park Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entrance, but if you give notice I am sure you get a space Dietary restrictions: They ask before you order
The best miller and carter that I’ve visited. The lovely venue makes the experience a fine dining night, some of the best service I’ve ever had was her, and the staff are always friendly. As always the food is lovely and cooked to perfection, some other M&C I have visited didn’t have this same quality! This is now my regular M&C in Essex.
If you really know and like your steak this is the place to get it. Got there by chance however, will make sure to get back. Great service, great food and the steak was something special, juicy and tender but not bloody, just cooked to perfection, might have been the best one I've had. Try the blue cheese sauce, brings out the sweetness of the steak. Dessert and coffee also great, pleasant ambient, overall 10 out of 10
Grace was lovely, handled our orders and our little one very well—was gracious no pun intended and patient . Dining out with a 3 y/o is never easy but she was quick and responsive and made it a nice night
Had an amazing evening. Beautiful food, excellent service from Natasha .The staff sang happy birthday to my daughter and brought her icecream and a cookie.
Booked a table for 18 people. We had the room at the top and it was brilliant. Plenty of space. Waiter was incredible! All orders were correct and lovely childrens did need changing as steak was too overdone for them, maybe advise those ordering kids steaks that they are much smaller so don't need as much cooking Didn't have to wait long for drinks / food. Waiter was fantastic for recommendations and knew what he was talking about. Meal was delicious. Only thing to change is the decor maybe, little dated. Reminded me of harvester restaurants Waiters name was James Parking: There is a car park out back that we didn't realise at first. Plenty of space. Would recommend making some parent / child spaces in the front car park. Wheelchair accessibility: We dined at the top. Had 2 buggies which were lifted up by the group. Not a problem if guests are happy to come out of Buggy / wheelchair and be able to walk up steps. If organising a party, must be made aware if having this space
