Friendly pub with a lovely beer garden. They serve food but not much for a vegetarian...

The food and service were great. The brisket nachos appetizer was big enough for two people. Appetizers came out as they should before the mains. Once the appetizers were done, our server promptly brought out the mains. The place was busy but staff kept up. Will definitely go again. Parking: The staff will ask before seating you if you have input your plate number for free parking.
We booked a table of 13 for my Mums surprise 50th birthday lunch yesterday. Kane was our server.. he was a hard working, friendly and helpful person who provided an excellent service during our stay.. he is truly an asset to your company. We were able to turn up a little early to display a little party decor which was great. The food was delicious and fun was had by all. Would definitely recommend to others and we will definitely be returning in future!
This mornings breakfast was terrible, iv been coming to this Harvester for many years, i have watched the standards of the food drop and portion size get smaller and smaller. Today we ordered classic breakfast and veg sausage bun the quality was not there. In the classic breakfast one mushroom two spoons of cold beans and two cold hash browns with a rock hard tomato, the two sausages were fine and the scrambled eggs ok. We were also given white toast instead of brown by mistake, which wasn't a big deal, which we had got changed. Me and my family really enjoyed coming here with friends before but now it saddens me to write this type of review. I held it back for a long time, but enough of this harvester poor standards.
Excellent!!! Great tasting food and service was very good. Busy place so worth booking but the quality and service from staff compared to other harvesters I’ve visited, this was by far the best. Quick and they get things done. Live close to a branch but I’d rather drive to this one.
The food was nice, service was great however the quality of some items on the salad cart was sub par at best. Rolls were like cardboard unfortunately. And the onion rings pictured with steak. Well u can see
Nice atmosphere and friendly, patient staff, but I think they may have been a little understaffed as it was sometimes difficult to get their attention, but it was a very busy time to be fair. It took some time for plates to be cleared with the next course arriving with the starter dishes still on the table. There was an odd moment when the mains arrived. Three of our party ordered the Simply Salmon meal. One plate had a nice big portion of mashed potato, whilst the other 2 plates looked like their serving of mash had been divided! We called called their attention to this and it was resolved, but it was so obvious and I don't particularly remember an apology being made subsequently. I've never experienced that before anywhere else and we wandered if it was intentional or a big oversight. Having said that, our party of 6 were all satisfied with our meals. As the only vegan, I was fairly satisfied with their vegan options, especially the starters. I had the Beyond Bean burger minus the mature slice because I find vegan cheese a strange concept as a main which xame with chips. It would been nice if the meal came with a size of vegan slaw or some type of appropriate vegetable option, although I know they provide a salad buffet. It would been good to have something more than just burger and chips. I get more value for money at my local take away to be honest, but it was decent enough. In all, it was an okay pub lunch on a Sunday afternoon / evening and most of our party were pleased with the taste of the food. I liked my Vegan Sundae Best, but would've liked to see a crunchy element to it like some crushed nuts. I'd like to see vegan waffles on the dessert menu. All on all, it was okay, just minor improvements that would have made it good in my book.
Very nice interior. Friendly customer service. Price range is reasonable too. Clean and fresh smelling toilets. Food was good I ordered vegan breakfast. Only thing that was a bit dissapoitment was mushroom on brioche. It smelled weird.
We were a party of 11, we arrived separately and the waiter was very attentive and understanding. Food was great, well presented and again we were checked on throughout, it was a very busy Saturday evening, so this left us all feeling impressed. Some of us hadn't eaten here for years and things have definitely improved! Thank you, we will be back.
Came here for an easy lunch on New Year's Day. Seated quickly without a reservation and had a really nice meal. The food is as you'd expect from a Harvester, nothing special but good enough for what you're spending and was served up quickly. Decent value too, £45 for two of us with a couple of drinks each and desert and coffee too. Friendly and efficient service from our waiter who was called Kane too! Parking: Plenty of spaces. Just need to enter your reg at the tablet inside.
Our waitress Chelsea done the best she could with little support. Got there just after 9 and the manager didn’t turn up until gone 10. Food was cold we sent one back to get heated up. Again we don’t think this was Chelsea’s fault but rather due to poor managements support.
