Really nice place and very friendly staff. The vegetarian dishes my guest tried to order weren't there and my guest had to go with fish and chips. I went with sirloin medium well, and it was really good. Juicy and tasty as what I had expected to be. The cheese was yumm! The fish and chips was also decent. No complaints. Only downside to the whole experience was the weird smell and was mildly pungent. Addressing that would make the customer's experience much better.
Big place lots of tables inside and outside. Table service only but it was really quick and servers very attentive. We weren't that hungry so decided to have the 4 plate tapas to share. Nachos, hot wings, breaded shrimp and jalapeno poppers. All excellent especially the poppers. We really enjoyed our time here and if ever in the area we would definitely visit again.
Brilliant experience. The staff were very friendly and pleasant and also funny which was great. The menu had a good selection and the food itself was great. Kids didn't complain. The portion sizes are generous. The desserts were huge, couldn't finish them. Don't forget the salad bar, it's great. Look forward to coming back.
3 course meal for £11.99 absolutely worth the money but drinks should come with it though which was a bit disappointing but hey ho. Staff were great, food was excellent, great atmosphere. I would visit again soon. Salad bar was also great too
Came here last week for a birthday meal as a group of 9. If I'm honest, I'm not normally a fan of Harvesters as im not a fan of the menu but Overall had a positive experience. It was the first day of the festive menu so we all chose something from that menu. I had the mushroom starter which I will say was amazing! The chicken goujons that my daughter had were also really good. I had the turkey dinner for main. It was OK. Meat was a little dry and the veg was a bit hard for my liking. Yorkshire pud was nice. Didn't have room for pudding as had the salad bar which is the highlight of a Harvester for me! My main issue of the night was the slow service. This is not in any way a reflection on the staff though. All the staff that served us worked so hard but it was evident that they were stretched and understaffed. There were long periods of time between clearing the table and each course being served. Overall a nice night but some improvements needed.
Really nice staff with a nice clean environment, food and drink service was very quick, my only issue with the menu was the lack of vegan options but apart from that the salad bar did help
Great salad, I would like a little more choice but was nice to get black olives. Our order was taken quickly but food did take a long time to arrive. They were busy so we were patient. Food generally good but I had sirloin steak and it wasn't great, chewy and dry. I didn't complain because I didn't want to wait again and it was edible but I wouldn't order it again. The others had chicken and ribs and that was all fine. Desserts nice too.
Breakfast: I ordered the Mediterranean eggs but they were disappointing, salsa too tangy, bread quite average. My sisters waffle and chicken was nice, the chicken was perfectly crispy but the waffles were slightly too sweet..
Great service and really nice and friendly staff and the Ultimate combo was delicious and tender, loved the chicken and Belly pork I had. Think this it my favourite dish makes me come back for more. I'm glad I celebrated my Christmas meal here had a great time. Hope you all have a great Christmas.
The decor was lovely, the dessert was great, the festive dinner ready was a disappointment. For the price we paid, it was pretty poor quality. The meat was nice but the vegetables were obviously frozen rather than fresh, they were chewy. The 3 of us that had the festive dinner ready didn't eat the vegetables because of this. We waited quite a while to order our dessert, when I called the lady she was quite abrupt.
