Had very good service from Sales Executive Chris! Quite different from any sales person I have spoken with before which made for quite a fun change. Whole sale process was pretty straight forward and overall I am highly satisfied with my new car. Had a nice warm welcome from the team when I arrived and Chris went the extra mile for me with my 3.5hr drive back home. Very pleased!
The staff that helped me with my booking over the phone and the gentleman on the front desk were very helpful, polite and overall very good. I decided to use a Ford garage as I thought your technicians would be highly trained with Ford vehicles and would be able Identify and fix issues to a higher standard than our local garage. To run diagnostics on my vehicle at the Ford garage, I was charged around £25 more for your specialists compared to my local garage. I admit that this was performed correctly and I was giving full, highly detailed information of the issues with my car. After finding out there was a problem with the catalytic converter I was told that It would need replacing and it will cost me £830 on top of the £75 to diagnosed the problem. However, I was very disappointed that the Vehicle was not otherwise examined for other ways to resolve the issue. After receiving my vehicle back I cleaned the sensor in the catalytic converter and added a cleaning additive into the fuel tank which then solved the problem for only £15. I feel like the advice that was given to me was purely just so your company could make a substantial amount of profit from me when other options were available and not given to me. After taking part in your online survey I was told you were unable to publish my review. Was it because it was bad feedback overall? I also feel overall my experience has not been acknowledged by ford after emailing complaints and leaving feedback through numerous roots. I have used your garage for numerous MOTs, services and even bought my wife’s car with yourself. I’m now questing should I be continuing to take my vehicle to your garage following this experience.
We recently purchased a Custom Transit Sport through Hartwell The service from Gianluca, Kevin and the rest of the team was first class from purchasing to collection. Collecting the vehicle was a great customer experience, everyone at Hartwell was very friendly and helpful, the new vehicle was immaculately presented and no hassle on the part exchange. Overall 10/10 I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Great experience with everyone at this branch. Spent a week back and forth with Krzysztof on phone and email to make sure I had the deal I wanted.Travelled by train to Abingdon from Sheffield as the deal they offered me could not be matched by anyone near me. They picked me up from the station, took me for a test drive and filled up the tank for my drive home. There was an issue with the online system on the day causing a delay in the funds being released meaning I had a two hour wait at the dealership. But the lady working that day asked if I wanted the heating turning up whilst I waited. Would definitely go back for my next purchase.

Nice showrooms and staff but, I had to wait 15 minutes at 14:30 on a quiet Friday for someone from the parts department to come to the countet and serve me with my pr-ordered parts? This was after they were informed I was waiting.

Good service and well looked after. The current lack of facility to provide courtesy cars or vehicle pick up is a nightmare though when I live half an hour away from the service centre. 27/06/22 The continued lack of courtesy cars is still insanely frustrating. I booked a "whilst you wait" service, dropped the vehicle off at 0745 and took my 4yr old for breakfast nearby. 2hrs later As advised we returned to be told it'd be another 40 minutes. Eventually we got the car back after 3 hrs 15 and would have had to wait another 20 minutes if we wanted it cleaned. On a wet and windy day there is only so much you can do to entertain a child within walking distance of the showroom. Another concern is the sense that if I'd not asked I would not have been given the complimentary breakdown cover that has always been a major selling point of a Ford service. Apparently they are looking at making this be a chargeable option in the future which if they do will lead me to taking my business elsewhere. Either of the following ideas would massively improve my review of Hartwell Ford: a. Reintroduce courtesy cars as an option. b. Have vehicles ready within the timescales advised. This is not the first time this has happened
We honestly don’t know how to thank these guys enough. We have recently bought a second hand car from another garage, within the first day of us having it, a warning light came on. Having taken it back to the garage that we originally bought it from, and with it being under warranty, we thought the problem would be resolved quickly. However, we were obviously dealing with a very dodgy dealers as they were extremely unhelpful, and refused to help us, trying to turn the tables round on us. We ended up taking the car to Hartwell where we received incredible service, they managed to diagnose and rectify the problem quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend, we cannot thank them enough.
