Great partnership approach! A member of their team recently did a 2-day 'industry insights' placement at J&B Recycling in Hartlepool. The idea was for the lecturer to gain experience of recycling and marketing; however they imparted lots of fantastic ideas and knowledge of education that has led to the extension of our resources section and outreach work with schools/colleges. Thank you!
Horribly organised college, studied there for 2 years in both we got a teacher from Saudi Arabia and Egypt which we couldn't understand at all and the worst part is that we got him in a core, very important subject which was mechanical principles. In the second year we got the teacher from egypt for 2 Subjects! We had him for 6 months where it was extremely hard to learn anything due to his broken english and lack of control over the classroom until they finally decided to fire him. Furthermore, my grades got stolen, in the first year on the last assignment I sent it over to my teacher who said it was Distinction level but it turned out to be marked Merit and then I couldn't rework it but I let it go. On second year, I started really trying because I got a place in Newcastle University on the basis that I get high grades, there are 2 subjects in particular which I have evidence for which says that I got a distinction on the module very clearly and I got the results which gave me a PASS! The modules are measurment and inspection and hydraulics and pneumatics. These arn't the only issues either the teachers are very unsympathetic and not helpful at all when I tried getting help I got ignored by 2 teachers. I wouldn't recommend this college at all go find somewhere else. Because of all this I might not get into the uni that I want.
We have just been to Hartlepool College of Further Education for our Daughters Graduation. Lovely college and much improved to when I attended from 1986 to 1991
I have been going to the college to get hair done for years had perms colours streaks high lights and also wash cut and blow dry the students are brilliant and Im always pleased with what I've had done not only are you helping the students your saving money which can't be bad would definitely recommend to anyone
Congratulations to the people resposible for all the hard work, making Thursday night 28th Nov 2013 a memorable occasion for the students who won the awards.nThe film shows were brilliant and the music well orchestrated.nAt the end of the evening magnificent food was provided, which had been prepared and presented by the student chefs .nThanks also to the dedication of the tutors for the support they have given their students over their academic years at the college.
