Surprisingly nice! I often disregarded this restaurant as it is part of a chain, but they had a lovely and diverse menu with some really innovative and delicious dishes that I was not expecting from what is branded as  a fish and chip shop. I hear the fish and chips are delicious, and being a vegetarian, can vouch that there is a considerate portion of veggie alternatives as well. I loved the interior design- very chic, clean and classy and the staff were lovely too! I went in winter so it was relatively quiet, but I assume it would be rather busy in the summer, but worth reserving if you want a chill but substantially decent meal.

Nice big restaurant with original features.
Food and service was nice but at the end of the day it's just a fish and chip shop with nice seats.
Ok if you want to dine but you get better value and real experience buying fish and chips and eating on the seafront in the open air as nature intended..

Well the first meal (just before they closed) really wasn't up to scratch at all. I contacted thier customer service team who were outstanding. They invited us back the next day, replaced the meal and more. Very happy with the outcome and the next meal was delicious.

We walked in and had to wait to be seated for about 3-4 minutes. Several staff looked over but didn't even acknowledge us, as we were about to walk out a miserable host came to seat us. There was no "hello, welcome how are you today" just "is it just 2 of you?" not even a smile. The rest of the staff members were just as miserable, the waiter didn't say hello either just asked us what we wanted to drink and eat and the woman that bought our food over just plonked it down on the table - we had to swap the meals over as she didn't even ask who had who. We weren't asked while we were eating if our meals were ok or if we wanted another drink. After waiting for 20 minutes after finishing our meal we decided to go up to the bar to pay so we could leave and find somewhere else for pudding. 
The food was delicious and well presented with good portion size for the cost. 
I won't be hurrying back here anytime soon, the staff certainly need to work on their customer service skills.

A fish and chip shop that actually has consistency. Have been there 3 days in a row and the quality of food has not changed, the chips are the best I have tried from a chippy in a long time.  Very friendly and helpful staff. Just watch out for the robbing seagulls when having a take away.
