The team at Harris Funeral Home recently made all arrangements following the sudden and unexpected passing of a close family member. Steve's approach was thoughtful, compassionate, and professional. Highly recommended.
My mother passed away Feb 2020 in London Ontario and I had traveled up from Rhode Island to be by her side when she passed. I had made zero funeral arrangements and was naïve as to what needed to be done prior to her passing. I called Harris Funeral Home just on their online reviews. Steve Harris returned my call, was so incredibly accommodating and made the entire process less painful than it could have been. His words to me just hours before my mother passed were "stay with your mom, time is precious right now and we can take care of everything after she passes". True to his word, Steve took care of everything with patience, kindness and professionalism. I don't expect I will ever need the services of Harris Funeral Home again but without hesitation, would highly recommend them to anyone.
Harris Funeral Home is an A+. Sensitive. Thoughtful. Empathetic. Professional. Kind. When my mom passed away, they took care of EVERYTHING. Funeral arrangements, removal of body, visitation, photos and video setup for visitation, limousines, obit announcements, flowers at funeral home, church and cemetery.. everything! Even thank you cards. I didn't have to do a thing.. they walked me through everything. They even helped with death benefits paperwork. What more can I say? Everything was smooth, comfortable and merciful. Harris Funeral Home took their time with me AND my family..didn't rush. Genuinely concerned. Steve Harris is amazing. John as well. Special thanks to you both. I would recommend your funeral home in a heartbeat. As far as I am concerned, there is no other funeral home in London Ontario who can match your service, kindness, empathy and genuineness. Yes, it has been a sorrowful time but you all have made this a BEARABLE time. I can not thank you enough. I want to let others know that during such a difficult time as death, it can be a peaceful, trouble free time when your funeral home takes care of everything. Harris Funeral Home recently took care of the all the final arrangements after the passing of a family member during the lock down restrictions. Steve Harris and his excellent team were exceptional with their attentive approach and with the care shown to my family. The honouring of our family member was highly evident with all that was arranged. My highest recommendation.
We lost our dad suddenly last year and didn't know where to begin when we learned the news. Steve immediately helped us feel at ease during a very difficult time and walked us through various options without any pressure whatsoever. He was readily available and answered any and all questions we had. We wish to thank Steve and the team at Harris Funeral Home for being there, and for being so incredibly generous with their time.
I recently had the need to find a funeral home in London to assist me in carrying out the wishes of my high school sweetheart and wife of 45 years upon her recent passing. Having never searched for funeral services in the past it was faith and fate which led our two daughters to contact Harris Funeral Home Ltd. while helping with me with preparations for a Celebration of Life for their Mother. From our first contact with Managing Director Stephen Harris, Christy and Peter of Team Harris we were offered Excellence in Customer Service and Follow-through. The Team exemplified the highest level of RESPECT, COMPASSION, EMPATHY, PATIENCE, CARE and PROFESSIONALISM which could be offered to us during this very sad and stressful time, not having had the luxury of a pre-arranged funeral. We were never ever made to feel pressured into making any decisions which we did not feel comfortable doing so. We were provided with patient compassion in reviewing the logistics, order of service and all requirements corresponding to the care and hosting of the Celebration of Life of our Loved One. I highly recommend to all, that you contact this “A” Team with FLAWLESS and SEAMLESS CARE for your Dearly Departed Loved One.
