Stopped here a few times and have never been disappointed. Great fish and chips, at a reasonable price. We've always done the takeaway, and eaten at a picnic bench or in the car on site. There is also a restaurant option rather than takeaway if you wish. Parking: Free parking, with ample number of spaces.
Great restaurant and take away. The car park is free and there are picnic tables to use if you want to sit outside with your take away. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lush! Definitely the biggest fishcakes I think I have ever had! The staff were very helpful and attentive. The restaurant has wheelchair access and a disabled loo - I didn't check to see if it had an adult or child change table, so you might want to give them a call on this one. The ladies loos were very clean and had completely closed cubicals no gaps under the doors or walls We had a lovely meal and will definitely stop off again on our way home from Scarborough
Amazing restaurant! The size of the meals were well worth the value and some of the best fish and chips we've had in some time. Clean tables, clean toilets, great music and wonderful staff, if you're any where near I highly recommend.
Excellent service, friendly smiling staff. Excellent banter back and forth, made too feel welcoming. Food was exquisite, perfectly cooked and plenty of seasoning to choose from. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and would highly recommend eating I'm again. A superior dining experience.
We called in on the spur of the moment on our way home and we were very pleased we did. Walked in, got a table instantly, ordered and within 10 minutes the food was on the table. Portion size was just right and the food was hot and very tasty indeed. The service was as impressive too, as were the prices. Would highly recommend.
Stopped on the way back from Scarborough on Christmas Eve with 2 others and our dog. Sadly we couldn’t eat in with the dog so had a take away and ate it in the car. The restaurant allowed me to use their toilet which was much appreciated. The food was plentiful and delicious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stop again when the next opportunity arises. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces outside. It’s also located next to a petrol station so parking will never be a problem.
Love this restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive. The tables are always kept clean you can’t sit at a table that has not been cleaned. There’s a good choice on the menu, they specialise in fish and chips. The fish is always so fresh and tasty and of a good size too big sometimes. They do children’s and seniors portions. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place. Ps they also do take away. Kid-friendliness: They cater for children and toddlers, they have high chairs available and there is a children’s menu option. Parking: Good size car park adjacent to the restaurant and includes disabled parking spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: Good access for wheelchair users and people with walking aids, no steps involved and a slope up to the upper eating area.
Went into the takeaway tonight, very quick service. Food was lovely and the curry sauce is amazing! Served by Debbie who I chatted too while waiting. Will be back next time I’m passing : Parking: Big car park with plenty of spaces
Great food, went last week and was served by Gemma who was lovely to talk too, had large haddock and chips and a portion of mushy peas. The fish was perfect and the mushy peas went perfectly with the fish. Will be recommending to others.
I have eaten take away here a number of times during the summer months but decided to eat in due to the weather. Before we sat down I was surprised that although only 2 tables were occupied we had to wait for a table to be cleaned. When shown to our seats the plastic faux leather covering of the seats was worn through to the fabric underneath so appeared filthy. I wouldn’t have sat but we had been walking so we’re in walking trousers. When the food came out of the kitchen it sat under the heat lamps while 3 people were behind the counter were doing more important things than getting food to the tables!! I was going to get the food myself but my daughter asked me not to embarrass her. From where I sat I could see through the swing door into the kitchen and could see litter on the floor. Beneath nearly all the tables in the restaurant was food that had been dropped and not swept up. The food itself I would rate at best average and as such over priced. The last time I will visit to eat in it take away. So disappointed!!
