This large family friendly pub has lots to offer. Home cooked food is available both lunch and evenings and can be enjoyed in the conservatory, bar-restaurant or the extensive garden, which has a play area for little ones, ideal for family get togethers.

The conservatory, which opens out onto the garden can also be booked for private or business functions with catering provided if required.

Good service, with good selection of tables, ie in a nook, or more open area. The best fish and chips, and seafood dish with seasonal veg! The batter on the huge fish was the lightest and crispiest . . . Well worth it!!

The staff were grubby and unhelpful. My friends had booked this for a christening party and having paid alot of money for food and were left with a few sandwiches and when they complained they brought out the uneaten Yorkshire puddings from the leftover roast... I had been told the food was usually good. I hope this is the case as everything they brought out looked disgusting.

A little run down, but ignore that to find a good welcome, great service and excellent food.

Excellent lunch at the Harp today:- two of us enjoyed the roast beef, one of us the lamb: all good, especially the veg - compliments to the chef !
