UPDATE Still ordering and no problems as of late. Cheap and cheerful. Some times I feel slightly rushed to pay n leave. ? Maybe just me. Food used to be Tasteless but recently it's great. Don't order the mixed ordourves was rather tiny. and not worth it. Everything has MSG in it and you can tell. Eaten here about 10 -15 times as it's my local and I like to stick to same takeaway.

I am part of a BT group that regularly buy from Hong Kong House. Their range of meals are superb. Often coming up with new menu items. Their roast chicken in sauce with chips, or their salt n pepper chips or pepper / black bean sauce with chips and meat are absolutely superb. Always friendly, welcoming and best Chinese in the area. Thank you guys for your excellent meals.

Don't go here if you're vegetarian or have any allergies. Went in to order some food, having strict dietary requirements, the man behind the counter did not have an allergen book, did not consult the chefs when I was asking him and had no idea what was in the food and didn't care either. The sign on the counter says '... if you have any allergens or restrictions please ask...', so I did. I asked him what was in the satay sauce, listed in the vegetarian section and he said it contained prawns! Food was sub-par but not awful, but don't go here if you have an allergy or dietary requirement because no one knows what is in the food, not even the owner. EHO needs to inspect this place.
