Leaving a five star review for Saleem. He helped me remove barriers of entry to work and now I am gainfully employed. Not only is he helpful but courteous and caring. Strongly recommended him as an advisor. Also Jonathan and Abdi were very helpful when helping dealing with my case.
Had to claim Jobseekers Allowance while was in between jobs and didn't have a good experience.nnI was 20 minutes late for. 9.45am appointment, my fault but had called the number given for head office at 9.00am. H.O. said it was okay but my advisor refused to see me even though her section was empty. I was rescheduled for the following week.nnThe advisor never fully explained what to do nor was there information anywhere else. She also entered my address incorrectly.nnShe also never told me that I could claim travel and clothing expenses for interviews and new job. When i asked, she told me little and made it seem my fault for not telling her late.nnI don't want this to reflect on all staff but when looking around, i saw another advisor eating a sandwich while talking to a Jobseeker. Just felt very unprofessional.nnI respect what they do and understand that the staff receive abuse from some of the public. However I feel they need better training for talking to people and advising them accordingly.

Some things don't depends from staff what is on job centre, but the people frome job centre try to help us, special they try to help me haw they know! Nice people
I'm trying to get through and it seems like no one is working on the line. I called on Friday and after 30 minutes just simply gave up. Today 15 minutes, nothing, and I'm still on the line with different number for over 15 minutes.nHow I should get in touch, there's no email address nothing.nThis 1 star is for the phone lines not the staff.
